Well-made, high performance
Large rectangular muffs that can be rotated to fit most outboard motors. Great performance: The double water flow is much better and safer than older single flow muffs. Store them above freezing to max the flexibility of the muffs so that they continue to have good seals to the motor and little leakage

Work great, very handy to have!
Work great, let me run my engine on land to make sure it was running ok. Used on a 42 year old boat, I/O engine, and they fit snug, and keep water flowing while you run the engine on land. Only had it running for 5-10 minutes, but the muffs worked great and kept the water flowing into the intake.

Make sure you're buying it for the right KIND of I/O boat.
It seems like a great item, it just turned out that my motor leg was a 140/400 stringer with a single port for water uptake. So this doesn't work, but it looks like for anything newer than 40 years old it should work well for.
