The plates are fine, a bit pricey for what you get
The plates are fine, a bit pricey for what you get, but they were a hit. My daughter wanted a mermaid non-Ariel birthday party, and I got these to help with the theme. In some random non descript party section at Walmart I found metallic pink and aqua/teal square plates to add to these (do not microwave mettalic plates; found that out the hard way). We were having over 30 people and I expected some will go for seconds getting new plates. Spending that much money on just the plates was too much for me. They matched perfectly with the colors on the mermaid plates. I think, it was also walmart that had a shiny crinkly aqua tablecloth that I laid a decorative fishnet over, spread some plastic coins and added gold plasticwear.The plates, napkins and cups pulled the look together.
