How do you make it remember the color you chose? Mine keeps resetting to red when I restart the car...?

Mine remembers the color even if I remove it and plug in somewhere else so there might be something wrong with the one you got.

The light stays on after I turn off my car. Is there a way to turn off the light?

Your USB port in your car may be on a timer and stay on for a period of time after the car is turned off, that's how the two of mine are anyway, it eventually goes off. If not, just going to have to unplug it.
