I ordered two of these sound machines in the past and I liked them better than the other brands I have tried. I'm a light sleeper and noises keep me awake, but the white noise drowns barking dogs, etc. so I can't hear them. I ordered a third machine and received it today. It didn't have the piece that you plug into the electricity so I was disappointed about that because the other two that I ordered had that piece with them so I'm wondering if I was supposed to get that with it or did they discontinue giving that to you with it. I don't have a USB plug in my bedroom and I need that piece to plug it in. I assumed I would get that the same as the other two that I ordered in the past. Very disappointed about that. I need to know if I was supposed to get the plug with it or not?

This definitely works for me. The sound quality is not great and if you’re trying to cover loud noise and have to turn the volume up, the quality gets worse. BUT if you just need low-medium background noise like I do, it’s fine. I only use the brown, grey, pink, and white noise, but the environmental sounds are pleasant. You can’t beat it for the price.It’s also very thin and lightweight so it can be easily packed for travel.

Liked the sound options, prefer brown noise a d this has it, but I also like faint sound in the background and I can’t quite get it turned down as low as I want. Put it in a drawer to achieve that. Most people probably prefer more complete sound blocking though and it will achieve that.

After reading "The Happiest Baby on the Block," while I was pregnant, my husband and I were sold on the value of white noise to soothe an infant and help her sleep. We bought this noise machine before she was born so as to be ready. Out of curiosity, however, we tried it ourselves one night, and we LOVED it. So relaxing, and nice low pitch. We ordered a second machine for ourselves. We've also used the machine with our daughter for sleep since she was born, and it's remarkable. The noise soothes her, and she associates it with sleep. Also, it does a great job of blocking out other noise in the house, so she can't hear and be disturbed by the phone or doorbell ringing, people talking downstairs, etc..We have both the single and double speed machines, and, honestly, would recommend other save a few dollars and go with the single speed. The single speed is the same as the high speed on the two speed version, which is all we ever use anyway. The low speed would be too quiet for our purposes.

I haven’t had any problems yet and I’ve used it a couple days. I wish the chord fit into it better but it still works regardless. It keeps the baby asleep for the right price! I wish the ocean noise was waves crashing but it’s not, oh well.

As a chronic insomniac I love this sound machine.... Mostly use the white noise setting as it is the most noise cancelling (for me) and I sleeep so much better. The Thunder setting is great for naps even when it's sunny outside. The only drawback is the blue power light (think it is too bright), but I just cover it and sleep like a baby (for atleast 4-5 hours). Like that it has a head phone jack. Thinking of ordering another for the office.The item arrived in a timely manner and is as described. Verry satisfied with the product and the seller.

This product has two issues that anyone buying it has to consider before buying:1) Volume: It only has 3 volume settings, starting at loud, ascending to very loud. If you have a small office then the lowest setting can be overwhelming, unless you have a spare room to put it in, then any room sharing a wall can benefit from a reasonable minimum volume. Need it a little louder but not to loud? Open the door a little. If you have a large office with, say, cubicles or something, then this would be perfect.2) Light: The LED is ridiculously bright, as in, hard to look at even in a well lit room.I will be buying another one as this is just to loud for my small office (average sized massage or Rolfing practice room). The only reason I gave this product 3 stars is the misrepresentation in its description and advertisements.
