Too big and heavy
Too big and heavy for a camping stove. Had to unfortunately return it.

Great product!
Love this! We used it for camping this summer and it heats up super quickly! We got the base model so have to use a lighter to light it and it works perfectly. I also LOVE that it all folds together and that the hose for the propane tank comes off and fits inside for storage. It is so sleek and small, and I love how easy it is to clean!!!

Not for EU market
It seems a great camping stove but after one month of buying it I wasn't able to test it. It's using US standard (?) 16oz propane canisters which are not (easily) available in EU. The problem is it doesn't say on the product description, at least not visibly and though you can find heaps of adapters for 16oz canisters to use on (one of many) EU standards for camping/gas utilities, the other way is not so easy. I did finally manage to find one (search for 1 L MAPP Gas Cartridge Converter Z20, sounds obvious;-) and I managed to try it out but it was so much hassle I'd not recommend going that path unless you really like this stove.I wish Coleman (or someone) would make the stove2canister tube for EU markets and all would be splendid..

Lives up to the name- still the best you can get for the price, and reliable!
Needed to replace my Coleman stove and this is still the best bang for your buck. One thing to know if you're a previous Coleman stove owner that they fail to tell you for some odd reasons- the black knob on the regulator on more recent year models (my other one was less than ten years old!) does NOt turn- not is it supposed to. I rmailed, called Coleman and neither time did they tell me this but promised to send a working one (which I never got).. I went to the store and bought three replacements and each didn't turn and I even messed with all they had in stock through the packaging but none turned. Long and short of it is they changed the design, made no indication in their directions the knob that even if you didn't have a stove before looks like a knob that should turn doesn't (it even instructs you on what detection is open) and it doesn't turn!! Super annoyed that I went through all that for two months before a trip when someone from the company should have told me that, the guide could have said that, or the thing is just completely ilunnecessarily masquerading as a functioning knob. However as with other colemans I've had- the heat burns hard and strong, it's made more solid than other brands at a fraction of the price for the quality. Plus, as a 46 year old camper I just think a Coleman stove and a Coleman lantern are sentimental nostalgic camping essentials that are still reliable. And how can anyone get a stove that doesn't have those side flap things that block the wind?! This is a great stove, and anyone who complains must either not be used to profaned stoves, or used to something that's hundreds of dollars more that I'm completely unaware of being somehow superior to this staple!
