We were looking for latches that didn’t require drilling into ours cabinets, these were the best price with the most reviews. The latches come with a plastic guide to show you how far back to place each piece, this is actually helpful and everyone should use it. The first one we tried to install, we did not use the guide and we had to unstick the piece and try again. Install went much quicker after using the guide.We installed these in three different rooms, on three sets of cabinets with different openings. I love that with this set you can install the locks regardless of cabinet type: middle divider between cabinet doors, no divider, open cabinet above the door, etc. Apologies for this crude description of cabinets, but I’m a tired new mom, cut me some slack.The customer service was also amazing - I emailed the company for a third key since the locks are in 3 rooms. Instead of having me purchase a key they quickly mailed me a new set, no questions asked, for free. I was above and beyond impressed with their customer service.We haven’t yet used the corner guards or plug covers, but it was nice they came in the package.Our baby hasn’t started crawling yet, so I can’t say how effective they are with him. But I can say that I keep forgetting we installed these and I haven’t been able to pull the cabinets open yet.All in all, good purchase!

I LOVE these baby proofing locks and “MQP” provides the BEST customer service!The locks are easy to install, not visible from the outside, durable (we used them for 4 years) and easy for adults to use. They gave me so much peace of mind knowing my babies were protected and still allowed the adults in our family to easily access what we needed. Having two “keys” per set to unlock is so helpful.We are in the process of moving and I have been removing the cabinet locks. They are removed completely by applying heat from a hair dryer and did not damage any wood cabinetry, for which I’m SO thankful. Additionally, John from My Quality Products sent me an entire new package when I requested just additional 3M adhesive so I could reuse some of the cabinet locks in our new home. I am so happy and grateful!I can’t recommend this company and this product enough! If you’re shopping around trying to find the best for your family, PICK THIS ONE! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Overall I think these are great, they installed very easily, the magnets are very strong so no issues with having trouble unlocking, love that it comes with two keys, not to mention the 4 corner bumpers and outlet covers were a nice bonus. My two complaints (and they aren't even that bad because I would repurchase these in a heart beat and recommend to anyone else to purchase as well) are 1. the install video that they have only shows install on drawers not cabinet doors (unless I'm blind and didn't see it) and 2. installed a set on the first cabinet door after cleaning the wood really well and making sure it was dry and the next morning my son grabbed the handle and pulled the door open and it just ripped the lock off the door. After using the included replacement adhesive on the lock I decided to use a blow drier to warm up the adhesive and the cabinet door first and haven't had any issues since.

These safety locks are easy to install and only take a few minutes each once you have completed your first one and understand how they work. There is no drilling required which keeps your cabinets looking clean and sharp looking if and when you need to remove them. The magnetic key is strong and can be placed on any metallic surface such as a refrigerator in the kitchen or inside a medicine cabinet in the bathroom.Since you can not see where the locking mechanism is inside the cabinet, you have to remember the general area of the magnetic key to work. It can take a few seconds to find the right spot to open the magnetic lock. This has not really been an issue but worth noting. Also, guest will not realize that the doors have a lock inside of them so you may need to let them know that in case you keep toiletry items inside them that your guests may need to access.I did have an issue with one of the locks and it's adhesive. One day I came home to find the lock had just fallen down inside the cabinet so the cabinet door was not secure anymore. I was able to reapply the lock and for the moment it seems to be holding properly.Overall, I think this is a great product and would recommend it to anymore looking for ease of installation and not looking drill into their cabinets.

I don’t know where to start with all the reasons I hate these!! First, they don’t stay stuck on. We installed them and within 3 months 2 were missing.Then the little latch that moves up and down inside the main piece acts up. Sometimes it does not move at all. Sometimes it latches. Sometimes it does not. So when your little one goes to open a cabinet it may, or may not open. That is 100% unacceptable.Third, and I can’t stress enough what a huge deal this is... they open by magnet.Yes, you say. We know. That’s the point. That’s why I’m buying them. Yes...... NO!!!!No. No. No!Let’s be logical here. The kit comes with 2 magnets. So you put them in convenient locations. I promise you. They will get lost. Moved. Misplaced. THROWN OUT. Yes. Yes they will. You say no, but they will.Then, consider this: every time you need to open a cabinet you need 2 hands. You need one to use the magnet and one to open the door. Seems like no biggie but what if you have your child in your arms? Or a piece of garbage? Something dripping... (coffee filter, gunk from the kitchen sink drain, food, anything leaking...????) FORGET IT. You need both hands to open those cabinets.This will slowly (or very quicky) invoke feelings of rage. That’s where I’m at. That’s why I’m writing this review. These things suck!! Don’t waste your money. Don’t choose this product. Unless of course you enjoy being frustrated and enraged on a daily basis.

Works well

Finally a child safety lock that isn't ugly, doesn't damage your cabinets, and actually works! It took a bit of finessing to install - just to line everything up perfectly, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. Works very well. Has the ability to keep unlocked (when the child isn't around perhaps!) or keep locked. Does zero damage to the cabinets and when you walk into the kitchen, you don't see them at all. LOVE IT.

These are by far the best child protective locks I've used. I’ve tried several different types of lock but what makes these the WINNER is that when the kids aren't around during the day, after bedtime, or weekends spent at their grandparents, these locks can be turned "off" so you aren't constantly locking & unlocking them. It only takes a few seconds to turn them on or off. I absolutely love that the locks are internal and don’t ruin the esthetic of my cabinets, and that no drilling is involved. I appreciate the extra adhesive tape in the pack as it makes it easy to change the location of the locks from one cabinet to another if you decide to re-organize your drawers & cabinets.I will be purchasing these again in the future to give as gifts to new parents!

Easy to install and easy to use. Had to make some modifications as it did not fit all drawers.

We got these because a toddler was visiting. Provided we were dealing with the right door shape, they work well. They aren't suited for our drawers, however. I think they would work on traditional drawers but ours are the modern kind with no place to fit these. It's very handy to be able to turn them off when you don't need them.

These are not compatible with all types of drawers and cabinets. Fell off from ours in a day. The glue on the corner protectors is also useless. My 10 month old had a great time peeling them off the table, getting glue on his hands and mouth. Not really baby safe.
