This thing never worked. My dog has a LOUD bark, and although it beeped when I pressed the + or - buttons to (allegedly) control the sensitivity, it never made a sound or a vibration when she was actually barking. I won't use shock collars, as my dog is an abused rescue and already has anxiety issues. Complete waste of money.

We have a Lab that barked a lot till we got him this collar. Works great if you have it set against the throat correctly. Only complaint is when the battery needs to be replaced the collar beeps continuously which if our dog is wearing the collar at that time he goes crazy because it hurts his ears. We find the batteries at Pet Co

It is very hard to find replacement batteries for this collar.

I like to use it to train my dog to shake without hurting

This product does not work as described. It doesn't always beep when my dog barks, but it does beep when my dog shakes his head! The only reason he even stops barking at all is because he's looking for the beeping sound - quite comical, really. Don't waste your money on this.
