Did not fit for me, and wasn't very flexible.
Harley Classic SoftailI don't think of this bike as uncommon or hard to fit, but this cup holder had very little chance. I suspect there is a small number of motorcycles that this will fit really well. My Harley handlebars have a 7" rise...1. The clamping mechanism is quite bulky and must wrap around the entire handlebar. In the area best suited to install right up near the grips, the various control cables for clutch and brake interfere with the clamp.2. Trying to find a different location on the handlebars is problematic in that this unit will only mount exactly vertically, or exactly horizontally. Therefore a <common> sloped or angled handlebar won't work- or rather, this unit does not work on a slope. If it had a variable adjustment from say zero to 90 degrees it could be made to work quite well away from the grips.I saw several reviews about size of cup this will hold, but in examining it I think the 3 1/8 max cup diameter is perfectly adequate. However, trying to fit it on handlebars with any amount of "rise" is likely a pain for most motorcycles. Maybe bicycles work ok, or mounting on luggage guards.I did find the RAM mount were flexible in mounting and better for me.

Motorcycle Bottle holder.
I have tried other motorcycle bottle holders, and have not been very happy. This was a surprise how nice this bottle holder mounts, and how stable it is. I had overlooked this holder when I purchased for looks rather than function. So easy to mount no tools required, and very stable, better than others I had spent near double the price.

Decent cheap cup holder
Not a bad cup holder. I like it because it's easy to take off/put on. I only use it for very long trips. (700+ miles in a day) it does slide down with the weight of a water bottle. I wrapped some electrical tape around it to keep It secure. If you're looking for a cup holder to use on occasion, this will work. If you're looking for something more perminant or long term, I'd get one that uses bolts to clamp it to the handlebars.

Much too small
The arms of the cup holder do not flex and won't fit most cups. No way you can carry a Starbucks or McDonalds coffee. The angle ensures that it spill.

Exactly what i needed!
I bought two of these for my Road Glide. It works well on both the handlebar and the Saddlebag guard. I ended up putting both on the handlebar left and right for me and my wifes coffee and/or 1/2 liter water bottles on long rides. The position of the holder can be rotated in 90 degree increments using an allen wrench to loosen screw. Also, the black color blends in well and hard to see when there is nothing in the holder.

Great buy for the price!
Pretty nice drink holder, 90+ mph and still holding strong. Velcro and the texas 95+ days didnt work too well though, the adhesive got sticky and the mount would turn and spill the yeti tumbler on my knee. Took velcro off and added the rubber piece and tightened it up with pliers as tight as I could get it and so far so good!

Limited Holder Size
It cannot hold a starbucks Grande Coffee. Seems to be more suited for cans of soda. The drink grip is not adjustable.

Water for the wife
Needed a water bottle holder on the motorcycle for the wife. Seems to be pretty solid and strongly built. Attaches well to the handlebar. I used a piece of bicycle inner tube around the bar for better grip instead of the velcro strip provided.
