Re. the fit - people are saying different things. I am 5'3" and 142 lbs. I usually wear a L or 12. I first bought the Large but the shorts were very baggy underneath the slightly too loose waistband. Then I ordered the Medium and sent back the Large. The fit is slightly awkward with the waist being a little tighter than I wished to get the seat and legs to be the right size. I am ditching the belt. I love the appearance with the pockets and contrasting top stitching. Quick dry fabric will be a boon for my upcoming vacation and camping.

I bought these shorts for my GF. She works in a marina and was so happy that they fit perfect. Delivery was on time. No issues at all. She'll probably buy another pair in a different color.

These fit great and so far they have held up great in the wash. Very comfortable and cool.

These have a great elastic waistband, material would be good for hot weather but I returned because they are very baggy in the hips.They also were a very wrinkly material. Had good pockets though.

Way too small, cuts you at the crotch area. Doesn't stretch well. I would say - hard pass.

Stats: I'm 5'3" and weigh 135. I am pear-shapped - smaller waist, bigger in the hips. The Medium is a tad snug in the hips, but I'm okay with it. I ordered Medium assuming (correctly) they had been down-sized since my last pair from ~12 (or more) years ago, which were a size Small.History: I owned this almost exact same pair of shorts for 12 years, maybe longer. They were literally falling apart at the waist, but I couldn't find anything like them. I searched AGAIN recently and found these! They are I assume the same shorts but updated. They are shorter, for one thing, and they have removed the back right zipper pocket, which I didn't like and never used anyway.Things I love: Quick dry (important in both Seattle and Tampa!); elastic waist; lightweight/comfy (again, good in Tampa's heat & humidity).What challenges me: Side pockets! My hips are full, and side pockets are generally never flattering. Same in the case of these shorts; however, I'll just have to live with them. Also, as I said above, they have down-sized this short, so even though my original pair was a Small (and still fit fine), I knew to order up one - Medium.

I’m pretty picky with shorts, and these are okay. I’m pear-shaped and have muscular legs; these are on the lower/mid-rise side, and are tighter around the hips and thighs than I expected. If they had some stretch, there wouldn’t be any problem. They don’t taper through the waist very well. The leg holes are loose, which is nice. Lots of extra fabric around the crotch area. They sound like snow pants when walking. I wish they had a back pocket.Overall, they’re nice enough that I kept them. I bought them for work because of the 6” inseam. They’re pretty flattering through the butt, but are just okay. The fabric breathes well and the belt is pretty cool.

Love the fit and the length which is ~ 2" above my knee. I wish the "undershorts" were a bit longer.

These shorts are okaaaaaay, useable but not great. I got the large, as I’m usually a size 6-8 and since they come with a belt I thought that would be safer. The waist and legs fit pretty well, and the belt is pretty good! The weird part is the crotch area, it’s super short so when I pull them up to my waist it gives this horrible weird camel toe lol. It’s like the crotch is made too short for the size of the shorts. The material is cheap but comfortable enough. The crotch thing makes them really hard to wear though.
