Quality construction, horizontal length helps to center a TV
I needed to mount my TV in a place where there is a wall stud pretty much dead center of where I need the TV. If I were to mount my TV on a swinging arm with one fixed installation point this might work, but I don't like the idea of a hinge mount for a big TV. The length of this mount allows me to offset the centering of the wall mount between two wall studs that are 24" apart, and to align the TV where I need it to be.Basically, I fixed the right end of the wall mount over the right wall stud, and the left side of the wall mount went several inches past the left wall stud. I was then able to hang my TV toward the left end of the wall mount, and this centered it perfectly over my shelf (moving the shelf itself was not an option here). You can see some of the wall mount sticking out to the right side behind my TV, but this is a complete non issue for me as it was more important to center the TV.The wall mount and brackets that attach to the back of the TV seem to be of good quality, and the hardware (screws and bolts) have given me no issue. So far everything is holding up, and it's clear that this mount could hold a TV far heavier than mine. I'm confident that it will hold mine until it needs to be replaced and couldn't recommend this product more.

Great mount, great price.
Fantastic! It's wide enough, and includes enough hardware, to bolt up to three studs. That's hard to beat, for sure. I'm using it for a heavy 70" TV and have absolutely no concerns or qualms about my expensive television being perched on this piece of hardware. The ability to lock it with a padlock is an additional plus, adding a layer of security. And it's 'locking bar', even if you don't use it with a padlock; is an easy way to secure the television to the mount so it can't be easily lifted off or 'bumped off' of the mount. The included hardware is decent. Not the greatest, but plenty good enough. Since they are pretty large lag bolts; I'd recommend using a socket and wrench to install, rather than a powered driver (like a drill/driver) to prevent cracking studs.Packaging and instructions are sub-par. The instructions are useless. But then, it's fairly self explanatory. Just make sure you have a plan of attack before you begin putting things together.I'd buy again! The picture shows my mounting setup, with wires hidden inside the wall. Looks great! And I figured I should take the pic with the TV on, and so enjoy a still shot of a little 'Alaska State Troopers', which happened to be on when I fired up the set!

Highly recommended
Works great for my 65" plasma TV, which is quite a bit heavier than most of the LED LCD and OLED models out there. Hugs the wall very closely for a nice look. The bracket's wide bolt holes came in very handy as well due to the weird spacing of studs in the wall I needed to mount the TV on. That's actually the reason I bought this new mount - my old one's bolt holes were too narrow to fit the studs I needed to drill into.Anyway - I highly recommend this mount, especially for large and heavy TVs. Do yourself a favor and do NOT spend $70-100 on the mounts sold at big box stores. If you're just looking for a basic low-profile mount and don't need tilt/swivel functions, then this is the one for you.Instructions were somewhat sparse as I recall, but that's not a negative thing as far as I'm concerned. If you can't figure out what to do with the pieces, you probably shouldn't be mounting the TV yourself anyway. Call in a professional or consult YouTube!

Not a slim mount
Fine quality and instructions but it is in no way a slim or low profile mount.

Nice and secure, good value
Used this to mount a new Vizio 55" TV. While trying to mount, I determined that studs in my basement are 24" (not 16") fortunately since this unit is quite wide and there are numerous holes, I could account for the wide studs and the fact they were not anywhere near on center. I did upgrade the bolts to one size longer at a home store. I used 4 lag bolts directly into studs for the 55" tv. TVs are so light now weight does not seem to be a concern. Once you mound the rails on the tv and frame on the wall, there are 3 "hook" positions that allow you to move it up about an each with each increment. We have been playing with it a little bit to see which height we like. I used by own 2 foot level like many others recommend.

Awesome mount! Low quality lag screws....
Really like the simplicity of this mount. Bought it for a low profile mount with a one piece mounting plate. Others I looked at actually had a two piece plate, which didn't seem as strong. Easily mounted 50 inch Samsung plasma. Tested it by hanging from the mount myself before placing the TV. Held my 170lbs for long enough to convince me that I'm not going to have to worry about it coming down unexpectedly. Have to mention.... the lag screws that come with the unit are junk, which is why we're not giving 5 stars here... Knew they were garbage fasteners for three reasons. 1) no head stamp stating strength. 2) hex head size was actually inconsistent. One didn't fit in the 1/2 inch socket it was supposed to. 3) one of the six (found 3 studs :) snapped off while tightening mount to wall. I'm sure I did not over-tighten. I understand torque. I'm sure these are the cheapest fasteners that can be found.... So, go to the hardware store and buy quality 5/16th by 2 1/2 inch lag screws. Prob cost you less than $4 and will ensure you don't snap one while tightening.

Slim Mount works great for a oled C8 65inch
**Likes**Slim mount , made my Oled c8 almost looks like its just floating on the wall.Easy to set up and wide enough to be able to find wood studs to properly secure the mount to.**Dislikes**the locking mechanism , im not sure how that works and the instructions included had no clear information kn how to use the locking mechanism. Its supposed to work with a padlock. I never figured that out.Another thing id like to say is this mount has no tilt.If your looking for just flat on the wall with no movement or tilt while maintaining a very low profile. This is it and its cheap !
