This is the best way of getting files in and out of an iPhone or iPad! Before I had to mail files and pictures to myself and then download them to either my laptop/computer or to the iPad/iPhone from that email, When I am on a vacation I don't usually take my laptop, only my iPad so getting pictures from the SD card in my waterproof camera was not possible until I saw this device on Amazon! I used to have to wait until I got home to download the pictures on the SD card, now I can download the pictures anywhere! I don't have to take my laptop on trips just to get pictures from my camera! It also comes with a USB connector so it plugs right into my laptop!

This SD card reader allows me to view all my trail camera pictures easily on my iPhone or iPad with having a cord for the connection. I highly recommend this for anyone who has a protective case on any Apple products and have had difficulty connecting any other SD card reader. Works amazingly well too!

Advertised as plug and play, but not recognized by iPhone14 Pro. Useless.GNASEET responded to this review and worked with me to try to get the original unit to work. After several attempts at getting the original to work failed, they sent me a replacement that works fine. The 2 units look almost identical, although the new one is a slightly lighter color. I appreciate the seller's attention to customer satisfaction and following up until the problem was solved.

I use this card reader for checking my trail cameras and downloading photos off of my camera.My trail cameras use both SD and micro SD cards. This card reader is plug and play, no app needed. It’s super easy to use and has no faults up to this point.

I was helping someone with a security camera that only supported an SD card. She didn't have a computer to view the recordings. I ran across this device (I guess I didn't even know they existed) and bought it with the camera. It's perfect because now she has a way of viewing (and editing/deleting) her video files on her iPhone! Gonna buy myself one next :)

I would recommend this device to anyone with an iPhone, looking for easy storage solutions, while on a tight budget. The quality of the cable and metal housing feel and work so well, I’d think it was a big tech name brand if I didn’t know better. The looks, and design are only the start to what has become an essential daily carry on. I’ve had no problems transferring photos and docs whether it be on Pc or Mac, so long as the SD card is formatted correctly. (NTFS=Mac & PC compatibility)… what more can I say, for the price you really can’t lose on this.

It works well but the claim about USB3 speeds are a lie. Plain and simple. So -2 start for lies.When connected to my PC. I average 18.4 MB/s WRITE & 20.1 MB/s READ. When I insert the same microSD card into a true USB 3 card reader I get 60 MB/s WRITE and 88.5 MB/s READ. I think the difference is pretty clear between USB 2 and USB 3.Also Lightning port (the plug that goes into iPhone is only USB 2 speed. That's the iPhone / Apple's fault).So I understand. However I was hoping the USB plug part to the PC would be USB3. IT IS NOT!Please change the description. It is a lie. No USB 3 here.

This is a great product, the wife wanted to take her pics off her phone and onto an sd card. This works, it will take a bit for photos to transfer

it took a while to work, didn't work on my iPhone 11 only on my laptop (HP). after some fiddling, i figured it out. wish it worked with my iphone
