In the middle of reading it and I really can’t put it down, it’s so so interesting and really does make you appreciate the small things reading what all these kids went through, I purchased this after watching the film and honestly so glad I did, what a brilliant read.

Époustouflant, j'en ressors bouche bée.
Un livre tout simplement magique, respirant une force captivante dans lequel des adolescents à la vie brisée par des conflits de gangs se voient retrouver dans une même classe, poussés par une enseignante à se mélanger peu importe leurs origines et leurs idéaux. Un livre qui fait beaucoup réfléchir et fait ouvrir les yeux sur les inégalités plus ou moins accentuées selon sa couleur de peau. J'en reste bouche bée et admirative, ce livre m'a clairement marqué et, par dessus tout, ces adolescents un peu plus jeune que moi, m'ont fasciné de par leur courage. BRAVO à Erin Gruwell et eux-mêmes pour essayer de rendre le monde un peu plus beau à travers ces lignes époustouflantes et criantes de vérité! Un livre que je recommande à absolument tout le monde.
