Not the same as the original Alpha Armur
I don't write reviews often, but I found I should put my 2 cents in. I have one of the original 32 OZ Alpha Armur stainless steel bottles that I got a few years back. This current one is clearly made with different materials. I thought people were just being weird about the bottle losing the shape and hense loosing its insulating properties. But low and behold its happened to me too. It no longer stays round and its now square. I can squeeze it a little and it becomes round again but there's clearly something wrong. The ice in the bottle melts quicker as well. Still a decent product, but what people have been saying about the thin outer shell is spot on.

It works but the metal is REALLY thin
Well, I got this as an addon item so the price of over $20 now seems a bit steep. It does a great job keeping the water cold but the metal is REALLY thin and it dents really easy. If a hole forms in the metal then it won't really work anymore. So if you're ok with that then it does what it's supposed to. But there are cheaper ones on Amazon now that do the same thing. You can get good ones for around $15 so anything over that, I'm not going to pay.

Knock off, pay beans ya get beans
I didn't expect a hydroflask when I purchased a knock off version BUT I did expect it to be just as strong. The metal on the sides can easily be squeezed by my 6 year old into the inner wall. It's now a square shaped bottle but it doesn't really affect the design to keep things cold/hot. I put it next to my 40 oz hydroflask and it's shorter (so I doubt it's actually 40 oz as described since its the same in diameter). Disappointed that it feels so cheap but it does keep things cold. I haven't tested the length it hold's coldness yet but it at least lasts me a shift so I know it does that much. The lid flips up and is pretty similar to my hydroflask BUT it has a pointed (very sharp) point underneath it. I give it a solid 2.5 stars.

For the price, it's just OK
Bought this bottle more than a year ago. It is good for the first few months, then the outer shell just became flat and squarish. Not a round bottle anymore. Does keep water cold for a brief time but has insulation problems. Easily condenses on the outside. For the price, it's okay.

Quite a disappointment, I purchased at 32 ounce bottle by the ...
Defective, bottle leaks water into the "vacuum" sealed space between the two layers of metal. Quite a disappointment, I purchased at 32 ounce bottle by the same manufacture a year ago and this bottle is noticeably weaker metal. I'm going on to the HydroFlash hype, at least their bottles have a good track record.

Outer shell/cylinder metal is too thin.
The product does a good job with the lid and thermal insulation at first. But after a limited use, the outer cylinder is "sucked in" (see attached picture) and in contact with the inner cylinder by the vacuum (between the inner and outer cylinders) and lost its insulation property. The outer cylinder need to be made of thicker metal.

Looks nice, but very weak
Looks nice, but very weak. Bought some for gifts because of the good price, but when I received it in the mail, 4 bottles were completely smashed in on one side. Will be returning.

great shape but started leaking after 3 months of limited use
I really liked the shape of the bottle. It was for my 11yo who wanted a larger capacity bottle but has smaller hands. The rounded square shape made it easier for him. Sadly, it began leaking after 3 months of taking it to soccer games. It was not dropped or handled roughly. It was not carried by its lid even. Something failed.
