Arnold Adoff was always one of my favorite poets since I first encountered him in a school library. This book captures the sights and sounds of the city in a way that those of us not familiar with it can understand.The book is excellent for teaching poetry to young children.And the rhythm of his poetry is magical and musical.So many ways that this book can be used by teachers and librarians.
