Good descriptions of plays and strategies
The book is pretty thin, but seems to cover the basics of the game of cribbage. My only complaint is that someone needs to edit this book. Lots of typos and misspellings. Takes away from the professionalism of the product.

Nice little book
Nice little book, worth the three bucks even if you've been playing awhile. My folks used to fight over, errr, PLAY cribbage nightly. If you play already, How To Play will confirm or contradict your present strategies. At the end however, while Mr. Bomberger doesn't say it, there's no substitute for drawing good cards. You get good cards matched to points and pegging, or you don't. Once you understand the combos and odds, there are only so many ways to go. And so a strategy can only carry you so far if your cards are filthy. One 'legend' missed in the telling of Cribbage is that in the TV series MASH, Cribbage landed Major Charles Emerson Winchester an assignment in the 4077th MASH due to his winning 670-odd dollars in Cribbage from a Colonel in Tokyo in a position to transfer him permanently. David Ogden was a worthy addition to the series and Cribbage was the scripted impetus.

Thorough review with typos
Offers excellent review of game history, rules, strategy, tips, and trick; however, is fraught with typos throughout. More time can and should have been invested in proofreading. If you can overlook that, this book might be a good adjunct to your cribbage play. Individual results may vary.
