As stated by the USDA: "Every article of foreign origin entering the United States must be legibly marked with the English name of the country of origin unless an exception from marking is provided for in the law."Oh, and the only reason these are double the strength is because they are double the size.

Is the tablet pure Spirulina, or are there "filler" ingredients?

On the label it states that it it is pure organic Spirulina, nothing else is added, No there are no fillers.

Does spirulina have protein in it?

It has 2g of protein per serving (3 tablets).

I see the tablet size on the bottle, but I cannot tell how large they are from that picture. Are the hard to swallow?

No...they are a large smooth oblong pill...no diff between them and vitamin see pills. My problem was taking three at a time and then causing my system to dry up. But I would suggest if you have a hard time with pills in general search for this great supplement in capsule form!
