Lightshare Lighted Upgraded 8FT Gorgeous Artificial Lighted Palm Tree, 256 LED Lights, Decoration for Home,Party, Christmas, Nativity, Outside Patio

I bought two of these for our outside deck. They look great. The LED’s are bright and show the leaves and the trunk at night. It’d be nice if they come up with a way to dim the lights a bit as needed or some different colors but regardless, they look good. I was concerned that they’d be really flimsy and wouldn’t hold up well but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s been rather windy and they’ve withstood it fine. They’re a little light on weight so I added a gallon ziplock bag of sand on top of each steel plate and put them in the rear corners of the deck. They’ve been doing fine. There are pre-drilled holes in the base plate but I didn’t want to drill holes into the composite decking, so I just used the gallon bags of dand to help weigh them down.They added a lot of fun to the deck. They look great. There is no on/off switch or batteries that I’m aware of. Just plug them in and they light up, so you’ll want some electric outlets nearby.

I purchase a set of these each year. They are durable, last outdoors all year long in the weather, heat, sun, wind, snow. I only replace to have a fresh set. Great value for the price. Bright lights, and give the yard that resort vibe.

Reasonably priced, shipping was fast. The tree was very easy to put together, and the lights are bright and beautiful! The palm fronds are easy to bend & shape to the way you want them. The tree came with ground stakes, but the tree is pretty light and our soil at our lake cabin is pretty sandy, so I also secured the tree with some twine to our wood fence post. I just received, so I can't say how sturdy it is or how it will hold up to wind and thunderstorms, but we will take apart & store in the winter. But the height is perfect and it's an eye catching addition to our deck overlooking the lake.

I ordered and received this 7 ft. lighted palm and the 5 ft. lighted palm from the same seller. I really like the trees, but I have one problem: the lights on the trunk of the 7' tree do not work - they just light up so dim they are barely visible. The green lights in the palms work fine. Both sets of lights on the 5' tree are great and very bright. I just need to replace the set of lights for the 7' trunk only, and I don't want to go to all the trouble of disassembling the tree and returning it for a replacement.Please advise.Thank you,ShirleyUPDATE: 3 May 2017 - The seller reached out to me and is sending me a set of replacement lights and a complimentary set of star lights for "any inconvenience" this issue may have caused. Shawn from Lightshare has promptly replied to let me know they will replace the lights, so that I don't have to dismantle the tree, attempt to fit it back in the box it was shipped in and return it. I have been given exemplary customer service regarding this issue.Now, as to the trees (I ordered the 5' and the 7'): these are simply beautiful! They were easy to assemble, connect the female/male plugs, and forming the palms was quick and easy as well. As far as I can tell the quality is much better than I was expecting, and I have received so many compliments on them, even with one set of trunk lights not yet working until I receive the replacement set. The trunks are wrapped with a true-to-life plastic electrical-like vinyl wrap that furthers their life-like appearance. I would highly recommend these trees from Lightshare.

We love this palm tree! However, this is our fourth one. They do not stand up well to rainy or cold weather. The middle support pole rusts. One of our palm trees broke within a few days of use. Our last one lasted seven months before it snapped in the wind. Because we love the look of the tree, we ordered another one and we are going to try to seal the bottom with a clear caulk to see if it will last longer.

Fun look to my hot tub area outside. So far it has withstood the Wisconsin winters and still lights up. Very long cord to solar panel. No complaints

The media could not be loaded. I’m very impressed with this tree! I was worried that the solar power wouldn’t be enough to light up the tree…I was wrong! The panel doesn’t even get sun the full day and the tree stays brightly lit throughout the night. I purchased rocks from IKEA (They did not come with the tree) to put at the base to make it look more natural. I think it complements my balcony well 😊 Purchase it!

This is no weather resistant. If it was, the bottom would not rust out after 1 summer. Very disappointed. The rest of the tree is fine, but what is good the rest of the tree when it collapsed because of the rust have tried to contact company with NO RESPONSE!
