Do not buy! I’m not sure what this is but I was using it on jewelry to attach my bezel to my backplate and it creates a hole or square shaped space in the metal that either deteriorates the metal or weakened it. It is horrible. In the photo you can see the square parts where the solder chips were and you can see where on the outside bottom left and top left the solder either made a shape or a hole where it ate at the metal. Ruined this piece

Hard to melt

would not melt as described. would turn red but not pool, stayed in a square shape and melted the metal to be soldered. used several different heating techniques. can't use for soldering jewelry or electronics

I’ve been soldering jewelry for years and have never had an issue with solder not melting and flowing until this. Even firing over the temp. Listed for the solder, if and when it does finally melt, it leaves marks in the sheet solder where it was. Does not flow even with an abundance of flux. Will not be ordering this again, unfortunately.

I have no idea what was sent but it definitely is worthless. It’s resistant to heat , no matter what form of heat used. Melts the silver before it melts the squares.

This is exactly what I needed for soldering. What a game changer!
