Great HD TV Antenna
This little HD tv antenna is awesome! Not large and heavy like some but it works great! The added power amplifier bring in over 50 channels for me! I do know where to point the antenna and that is huge to know when cutting cable for free TV. This was a purchase for my outdoor TV and it will be awesome! I supplied a photo of it in the window as my TV is not installed outside yet. Easy to use just scan channels on Air input and watch!.

Not the best deal, but maybe acceptable
It works and for the price it is nice, however for a few dollars more better quality can be found. With this one I now have two in my house, the other one (which did not have a range claim) is able to pick-up one more station (2 or 3 more channels).Living in West Central Texas there are the stations that broadcast in town or nothing. We have four transmitters giving us about 12-16 channels (including 3 in Spanish). When the dish goes out (rare occasion, but happens) additional options are nice, choose wisely.

Beware of false reveiws
I live in a major city, and somewhat central in that city. I have had HD antennas before that worked well. I bought this based on other reviews. I'm well aware of how to set this up and I'm well aware of which direction my city's air signals are coming from. This piece of junk does a horrible job of picking up signals. I only was able to get FOX and ABC, and a bunch of spanish signals. And when our dog would stand by the tv, the signals would start getting distorted. When she would actually sit and chew a toy, the signals would sometimes fade out completely. I tried all different sorts of angle positions, going high, going low, going left, going right. Crap. Put back on my older, and very bulky, and UNPOWERED, antenna bac on until I can find a better option.I'm guessing there are false claims in many reviews, to try and push this product. Again, I live in an area that gets great air signals and this item did a horrible job of picking them up. This is not an item worth saving a few bucks with.

Still looking.
I live in Houston about 15 miles from the broadcast towers. All are located South of town with no obstructions. I have a tree in my yard but that's blocking line of sight to the towers, but nothing else. This is the third antenna I have tried and none of them work very well. The amplifier doesn't help at all. One TV is about 15 feet from a South window and another is adjacent to a South window. I tried it on both TVs either in or close to the window. My old flat non-amplified RCA antenna at least gets PBS, which I watch a lot, but none of the others get the local channels satisfactorily, unless I stand next to the TV and constantly move the antenna for each station, most of which are religious or in a foreign language, neither of which appeal to me.

Worth the price
Item arrived in 2 days and packaged well. Paper thin and light weight, looks sleek and compact. Easy to use, I stuck it to the window and at least 30 channels were obtained with clear picture, some of them I didn't even know. Good value for the price.

It does work
It does work, of course though it does depend on your location. My sister and I live in the same city in San Diego North County. She lives in a small valley, and could get no channels. I live on a little hill, and I stretched it way up to a window near the front wall, and I get a bout 15 stations, 2 of them network stations. I'm not a big TV watcher, so it's enough that I'm going to cut cable TV out!

Just OK
My "new": smart TV doesn't even have one coax input or more than 1 USB port. Make sure that where you use it, you have a coax/USB input.I was able to connect it to my DVR, but the cord length was too short, so I needed a USB "hub" extension, which looks kind of goofy hanging down from my TV. This also does not give better reception that my old cheapie RCA rabbit ears.... Even they had an amplified connection (i.e., power cord)

Powerful little Antenna.
This little antenna works so well. I highly recommend it. I actually picked up extra channels! I like that. Much cheaper than cable bill.
