Great buy
Great, used it to make ballistic gummy bears to shoot at. Wish they had larger sizes (I’m not the best shot 😅)

Fun and Tasty
My little nephew dreamed of making a giant gummy bear so I bought him this for us to make together. We had a great time and all my nephews enjoyed eating it. It is really easy to do, and is a fun hands-on activity.

Overall Nice But Smaller Than I Thought
Overall this is a nice product. It does exactly what you need it to. The only problem for me was that I expected it to be bigger. A 6 inch gummy bear is large but not giant or jumbo. Would be nice to have an option that makes an 8 to 10 inch gummy bear. Will probably see about having one custom made. Otherwise, this product does great.

Buy this gummy bear mold.
I used to have the clear plastic gummy bear mold but I melted it so I wanted something stronger. I found this and knew I needed this mold in my life. I opted for green instead of the red even though the red seems to be more popular. Right out of the box I was impressed with the mold. The shape is a classic gummy bear shape and the mold seems to be commercial quality. My mold has some very thin spots in the eyebrows and underarm areas as seen in the picture. This worried me as they are very thin and I can imagine them tearing in those spots so I wanted to test the gummy bear mold immediately. I found a recipe similar to the one I used to use and it was as follows 2 small boxes of jello, 2 boxes (8 packets) of knox gelatine, 1/2 cup of corn syrup, 1 cup water. I added everything into a bowl and let the gelatin bloom and then heated everything until warm and melted in the microwave for 30 second bursts. While The gelatin was blooming i rubbed the inside of the mold down heavily with vegetable oil. After the mix was warm and ready i poured it into the mold only to discover my recipe was too shy... I ended up with skinny ears! I needed more so next time i will make this recipe as follows: 3 small boxes of jello, 12 envelopes of knox gelatine (3 boxes), 3/4C corn syrup and 1 1/2C water. This *should* give me enough mix to fill the mold and skim the foamy scum off the back. Nobody likes foamy scum. I cooled the mold in place on the stove for 30 mins, then 30 mins in the fridge... still warm. Silicone holds heat. I popped the mold into the freezer for an additional hour and everything was cool. Now the stressful part... is the mold going to tear popping out my gummy bear? Nope! The bear slid right out with no effort at all onto a dinner plate and stuck to the plate... stuck hard to the plate... I couldn't even move it for a better photo. There was no need to touch the mold in any way shape or form, it just poured right out. There go my concerns with the thinness of the eyebrows, it is a non issue as long as you grease the silicone just to be sure.

Easy to use easy to clean and hard to screw up
My kids and I tested out this gummy, bear mold not knowing if it was going to be a success or a total failure. Not only was it a success, but it also was easy to use and super easy to clean up as well. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to make a giant gummy bear. My favorite thing about the mold is that I can flavor and color my own choices And not have to buy whatever is available I can make an infinite number of combinations and they make really cute gifts for kids especially.

Yummy gummies!
This works great! My son decided to make giant gummy bears for his friends as gifts. While I wish there was a version that was a bit bigger (and a gummy worm version!), we tweaked the recipe to work perfectly in this mold...2 6oz packs Jello (or 4, 3 oz)6 tbsp. Unflavored gelatin (like Knox)1 tsp citric acid powder1 cup light corn syrup1 1/3 cup boiling hot waterMix dry ingredients first. Add hot water and mix with fork to dissolve powder. Add corn syrup and mix again by hand. Let rest for 10-15 minutes. Mix one last time. THEN pour into clean, dry mold. Let rest for another 10 minutes, use the fork or a spatula to remove bubbles/foam that rises to the top. Chill in fridge for 3-4 hours. Allow to rest at air temp out of the mold for about 24 hours so outside is not tacky. (For a sour twist, coat with a mixture of 2 part sugar, 1 part citric acid, tastes like a sour patch gummy!)
