Are this for cleaning the extensions or the actual feeding tube? I’m confused because it looks like it’s for extensions but says tube cleaner...

Hi, it is for cleaning the long extensions as shown in the images. You can also try using it to clean the feeding tube directly if you have a long tube but you have to be extremely careful not to insert it too deep and make sure that the brush does not go into the stomach. Better to be at less an inch or 2 inches away from the stomach. For cleaning short feeding tubes, it would be better for you to use a short brush like those for cleaning drinking straws instead.

Do these clean only the extensions or do they also take care of clogs in the mickey?

They will clean the clogs all the way down. They work great.

no, I just got the 3 long wires with tiny brushes on the tips. by the way, these are only good to clean Gtubes. They are too thick for Jtubes and can damage the balloon. They do not work for unclogging! Please go to your GI doctor if clogged. Take care.

Too thin

It is a 2 mm wire and therefore cannot properly clean an adult peg tube though length is satisfactory.Continuous scraping shall damage the tube and reduce life of tube.Shall review again for other features. Meanwhile one seems not to have much choice here in India regarding thicker size.
