Where I live, I can't have a garbage disposal so I needed a strainer that had holes small enough to trap small particles.These strainers are perfect for that task. The holes are smaller than the original strainer that came w/the sink and the stainless steel they are made from is a good quality. They fit nice and flush over the rim of the drain and, although they don't have a handle, they are a breeze to lift and remove for cleaning.My only regret is that I didn't buy them sooner.

I wish the "well" is a little bit deeper so it'll catch more food particles in the kitchen sink before I have empty it out to keep the water draining. I have another sink strainer on the other side of the kitchen sink that has a much deeper well and the water drains much faster.

I've tried several different strainers but all of them failed me miserably... Either holes are too big that my sink pipes get constantly clogged up or holes are too small that water doesn't drain well that I have Great Lake Michigan in my sink~~. No more plumber SOS or toilet plunger needed.This does the job superbly with very little investment, which is the best part!

This strainer has a single thickness to the rim and when you tap it on the garbage pail to empty, it will eventually loose its shape in my opinion. It is worth getting the one that is two ply for 9.99

Don't work.

These strain everything out while still allowing water to drain through. They fit standard sink drains in such a way that food does not get underneath the strainer AT ALL! Get rid of your frustrating plunger-type or wire mesh strainers and replace them with these. You'll be HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!
