IPAD MINI SMART CASE BLACK-USA

I'm trying to be as precise as posible with the title I choose, because maybe is not the best case in the world for the iPad mini... but if you compare between Apple' Smart Cases, well... the black one is the best!!! Why??? because is BLACK LEATHER!!! And with use and time, it will not get as dirty as any other color Apple has. I have the brown leather case for my iPhone 5S and it gets HORRIBLE extremely quickly... and I'm a "washing hands sick".Don't misunderstand me... IT IS a VERY GOOD case for the iPad mini. Light, durable, with VERY precise cut outs and an extremely good touch feeling. The build quality is TOP NOTCH!!! But has two little problems (reason why I don't give 5 starts). First, the magnets in the front face are not strong enough, so, when you fold it, the triangle IS NOT holding strong. You can't press or move or push too much. Second, the front face only have magnets in the far right edge, then after some use, when you close the case, it leaves a gap near the hinge. More than enough for dirt to come easily.Besides this, if you tip with care, and transport the iPad (with the smart case) inside a clean bag... or thigh one, you will be over the "bad things" of the case. For hand manipulation, is perfect fit!!!

I bought this case back in May and have been extremely pleased with it! I was having a hard time finding this color in any local store but here it was on Amazon, cheaper than Apple! It's protected my iPad mini perfectly and looks super cute while doing so! I was concerned that maybe this case was a "fraud" as some reviews had claimed, but I am quite pleased to say those reviews were wrong! It's everything I wanted!Functionally this case is floppier than maybe some other that are out there, but it's served my purpose wonderfully! Also the color is now a dirtier, dingier yellow that just occurred through use, but all I do it wipe it down gently with a wet cloth and it's just as bright as new! I would definitely recommend it!

When I first boggt my new iPad mini, I was looking for a protective case. I looked to different models. Apple has exact same one, but more expensive.This case is great, it protect the front and back and has the feature of Smart Cover. One of the great thing about it is the material. At one point I felt that some dirt stuck to the front part but I was able to clean it we'll with some alcohol pads, with no damage to the case.It has great grip with light weight. In hands it feel great, not slippery.The bottom line, this is the great deal to protect your ipad, and if you think more we live in this era where we have new product every while, so at the time when you decide to upgrade or even to sell your gadget you will end by having almost brand new iPad which is well protected.

Great FEELING case...other than that, it's not a very functional case. I decided to buy this case because I've never had any problems with any of my apple products and I had faith in apple making another great product, but after a few days I noticed that it didn't have a very strong magnetic hold and many times when i was using the trip-fold design, it would come apart, even if i was holding it in place. I think the only thing that is good about this case is that it looks nice and feels nice. It's definitely not worth the full price and i wouldn't recommend this case to anyone, unless the only thing you want from a case is protection, looks and feel. There is hardly any functionality with this case, and for me, besides protection, functionality matters more than any of the other aspects.

Case is fine and fits well. It doesn't stand upright as well as I would have liked. My wife has another brand and it has a catch in the back that stabilizes it better when standing upright. It also doesn't turn off the screen when you close it up like my wife's does. Guess I should have bought the same brand as my wife. But it does protect well and that is mainly what I bought it for.

I actually have researched and demoed dozens of iPad cases over the past month for my local school district (500+ iPads). I have been impressed by a number of third-party iPad cases; however, I personally fell in love with Apple's leather smartcase. Even though the cost of the case was too much for the school district, I still purchased this leather case for my iPad Mini and iPad Air. I do not recommend this case if you want something that will protect your iPad from a drop. It really only protects your iPad from scratches and minor wear. All in all, I really love my leather iPad case!

I recently received an older mini 2 free with a MacBook purchase. Hey barely had any cases for it at Best Buy. I bought one from Modal and returned it. I took a chance on his and it it fits like a glove. I find the cover works perfectly and the magnet strength is right on. This is the perfect case for an iPad mini 2. Considering I might this one for $30, good luck finding a better case. The leather quality is really nice too.

I always look for low-profile, simple and chic designs that are not noticeable. This case has all of the above. It fits the iPad mini perfectly, its simple, it covers and protects the edges very nicely. So i would def buy it again without hesitation.Only thing is that it only allows the Apple lighting cable to get plugged in! if you are using the Amazon basic cable, then you need to use a blade and shave off about .5mm of the connector edges to make it fit through the opening (which isn't really a big deal)
