Easy to install, good volume. Has a couple of good chime choices, a lot of annoying ones to choose from. The only problems, and for this I fault people who don't even try to figure simple things out: some people press the top of the bell, not the (obvious) lower part that is sticking out farther, and some people don't press hard enough. It doesn't take a lot of pressure, so that's on them. Otherwise, it's a good deal.

Really easy to install. The door bell is a great size and very noticeable, while the indoor chime was quite small and is barely noticeable. I positioned the chime housing @ a mid point in my house. Given my experience with my previous doorbell, I was afraid it might not be heard the farthest room. I was very impressed with this product, the chime was quite loud and can easily be heard throughout the house. I chuckled at the variety of chime options, although i’m not sure I will bother changing it too often. I will definitely recommend it to friends & neighbors.

Despite being advertised as being for deaf and hard of hearing this is woefully inadequate, being instead a musical doorbell with an easily overlooked light flasher. A smallish strip flashes a blue light when rung. I will use it as a portable alerter for when out of Los of my bright flasher. Hoped for much better and more useful device .

At the highest volume setting, it's difficult to hear it. This might work well as an "alarm" to notify someone in another room, but as a doorbell, it doesn't ring any bells.

I bought it for an alarm system for my elderly parents. So if something was wrong while they were in bed all they had to do is hit the button to alert me. Plus I could carry it around the house or be in the garage. Works great, but you need to understand it has a range limit and you need to test it around the house. It was a hell of a lot cheaper than most I reveiwed.

Very nice doorbell kit and easy to set up just about anywhere. I like that you only need to get batteries for the ringer, since the doorbell button is kinetically powered and is recharged just by pushing it. Clever idea that saves money in the long run. Sufficient number of different melodies for the chimes. This is a good deal.

Some tunes are very loud, which for me is a good thing.. Down side is! You have to go thru every single tune to get to the one that suits you.

Bought this as a gift for my mother, she LOVES it. No surprises. The button even came with double-sided foam mounting tape. She has it set to a Christmas song right now, for the holidays.
