Very effective!
These little bags are just what I needed for my violin! It gets very, very dry here in Illinois during the winter, and these dandy bags keep enough moisture in my case to really make a difference.

Moister bags open up loosing bead materials
I like the product, and it seems to work OK. But, the bag seams open up after a few recycles and spill the bead contents out. When this happens they are no longer usable! This requires the routine reordering of the small moister bags!

Helpful but doesn't solve the problem
I live in Michigan and winters here tend to be very dry. The Stretto humidifier is the second humidifier I've added to my arsenal (Dampit was the first) and I can tell by looking at the hygrometer in my viola's case that it helps but in the middle of winter it doesn't get it up past 40.
