Castelines Classic AOP Vallee Des Baux De Provence 2020 Harvest Cold Extracted Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 0.5 Liter / 16.9 Ounces

I read about this olive oil through a cooking magazine. I've tried lots of the really good oils and still found them all to be too wheaty or grassy. As soon as I tasted Castelines Classic AOP, I went WOW! It's got a buttery smooth taste with some great lingering mouth feel, and now I'm a fan. On top of that, it's a cold press version that's really good for you. We've taken to giving about an eighth of a teaspoon to our beloved old cat, and now her spirits have perked up and her fur is smooth and soft. In my opinion this is the best of the best. Also great for cooking and bread dipping. I'll keep saving up my money to buy this - it's not inexpensive but with judicious use it will last a long time and is worth every cent. Highly recommend.

Very good olive oil, prefer the Noir, Black olive version they make although this is much better than other olive oils.

This is the only EVO for finishing oil I buy. Have tried EVO in several countries; Greece, Italy, Sicily, Spain and of course in the US, to name a few, and haven't found any I like better. That being said, it isn't inexpensive but to us, very well worth the money for the quality and taste.

We toast our patato carrot bread from Brotbox - It is just "WONDERFUL" w/our Castelines oil that we spread over the top instead of butter. Cut the bun / rolls in half and place in the toaster- it browns the seeds also - such a treat frist thing in the morning.

This Olive Oil is extremely smooth with no bitter aftertaste. Other olive oils leave you underwhelmed and a weird aftertaste. This one does not. If you are looking for a fantastic olive oil, this is the one. It is worth every penny. I use it for virtually everything that calls for olive oil and sometimes I use it in place of regular oils. I use it on salads too. I highly recommend this product if you want to elevate your cooking to the next level.
