Portable Cassette Tape Player Recorder, AM/FM Radio Cassette Player with Built in Speaker, Headphone Jack, AC or Battery Operated Tape Player, Black

I absolutely love this nostalgic find! The G Keni Portable Cassette Player Boombox delivers exactly what I was hoping for a simple, functional throwback that actually works. It looks presentable, and is moderately durable (good for adult use). The cassette player works just as described, smooth playback and no issues so far. The AM/FM radio picks up stations clearly, which was a pleasant surprise. No complicated setup, just pop in a tape or tune the dial and go. Lightweight and portable, perfect for moving around the house. The option to use batteries or AC power is really convenient. The sound quality is pretty basic—not bad, but don’t expect deep bass or high-end audio performance. Overall, this is a great, functional, no-frills boombox that’s perfect if you’re looking for something nostalgic that just works.

I have many cassette recordings of the practice sessions of our girls gospel trio from years ago. Wanted to re-listen to them, but they didn't sound right on my old tape player. So I ordered this one. Received it in 2 days. It is very solid, nice size, easy to work with. Now I can play the old tapes - and I just sing along with it. And I am in the Trio once again! So glad I got this cute little player. Not fancy, but it does what I need it to do, brings me much pleasure & that is what counts.

Love this cassette player & radio combined ! Small but loud. I had some old tapes of my deceased dad's voice and it played and sounded clearly. Would highly recommend. Would definitely buy again, very happy I bought it, and you can't beat the price for the quality of it !

Great! Plays loud and clear. Easy to use.

About 10 months after purchase with probably 20 or fewer times using the cassette player, the cassette player playback speed increased significantly. It now sounds like a barely intelligible Alvin from Alvin and the chipmunks. Maybe this is an issue with simply adjusting the playback speed. If someone from the G Keni store is reading this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me where I can find the playback speed adjuster, I have been unable to find it externally or internally. I could not find it in the user manual. I will happily adjust this review setting if I can get some real customer support. I suspect that some deeply internal piece of internal hardware broke and that's the issue. I know this is a budget option but was hoping for a little bit longer before it became just a radio.

Works as advertised. Been many years since I used a cassette player but I'm getting ready to move and I had all these old classic cassettes. My son expressed an interest in the tapes so I had to get a player and this one fit the bill. It's working great and is a good size for his construction job.

This is a nice player and has a good quality sound.

While cleaning the closet, I found over 100 cassettes. The last time I listened to them was about 35 years ago!!! Decided to try nostalgia lane A gem; plays as I remember, all the imperfections in the sound reproduction, yeah!! In a way, history on how we moved from vinyl lp's to cassettes, and on to digital Thanks

Sound quality really surprised me. It's great! The mic works great as well. I love this little thing. Great for camping and also for getting a little cassette collection going and playing then around the house and camping. Beautiful piece of analog to have in our modern times.

It didn’t work with the power cable, I can’t judge if that’s because of the cable was damaged or incompatible with the power standards in UAE. The input into the devise is also different hence I couldn’t use an alternative cable. I tried it with batteries and it worked

I love this little radio. The sound is so clear. I haven't recorded anything yet. I mainly got it to play my cassettes and MP3 usb on and it does it beautifully. I am very happy with this cassette player/recorder. Highly recommend.

I would like speaker to be little bit louder. However, I was able to digitalize some old recordings using this player.
