Yes, this activity log notepad is thick enough to use a felt tip marker. However if you hold a permanent marker down long enough it will go through the activity log sheets…..just like any paper, regardless of its thickness.

Q: Is the backing sturdy enough to have a magnet attached and not ruin it?

The notepads are pretty sturdy and fairly thin, so I think attaching a magnet to it would work well and not ruin it.
