ChacoZ1 Ecotread Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

Chacos in my daughter’s favorite color. Total win! She’s had them in every size, but is graduating to adult size at 12 now... They are sturdy & we live in Tucson so they get a ton of use.

Are these even for real Chaco brand? I am really second guessing my purchase. I bought these for my son and they arrived in a half torn open sack. Not box or anything. They say Chaco on them, but don’t fit like my other Chaco sandals. (I tried them on because he is my same size). The sole seems flimsy. I don’t think they are authentic.

I’m sure the shoe I ordered is a great shoe, I love Chaco’s.However, this seller can’t get it right. The first shoe delivered was a kids sandal and the second shoe delivered was yet another child’s size sandal. 🙄The first picture is the shoe I want. The second two pictures are what I received.

A friend of mine has been trying to convince me to by Chacos for some time. I always thought them horrifically ugly and not worth the price. However, when I saw them on sale on Amazon, I decided to grab a pair to try. Although I have yet to wear these shoes all day long, I have worn them for around 5 hours straight very comfortably. I work at an indoor aquatic center, so comfortable and breathable sandals are a big plus. This summer I am looking forward to wearing them for more extended periods of time, and in different situations. I can certainly see them as being good everyday or camp sandals. I also hope to wear them kayaking, although I wonder about the sole rubbing or remaining wet, as it fits to the foot very closely.I wear 8.5 running shoes, but can wear 7.5 to 9 in different shoe styles, depending on the fit. The size 5 Big Kids seem to fit me well, although I wonder if the size 6 would have allowed for more room for my toes-- I have about a quarter of an inch between my toe and the edge of the shoe. The aesthetics of the shoe no longer bother me-- the more I wear them, the cuter I seem to find them. I thank my friend for convincing me, she was right.
