Worked great on my GE
Worked great on my GE model WES1452SS1SS. First symptom - the carousel turned on when I opened the door. The next day, Second symptom - the carousel didn't turn on when I opened the door, however when I pressed 1 for one minute cook, I believe it was the magnetometer that clicked, the unit didn't start, and the timer started counting down.WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FIX YOUR MICOWAVE IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE FOLLOWING PROCEEDURE. 4000 VOTS COULD CAUSE DEATH. SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP IF NEEDED.I disconnected power, opened the unit, waitied 30 seconds for an internal capacitor resistor to auto discharge the capacitor. As a safety measure, I manually discharged the capacitor with an insulated handle screwdriver to the chassis ground bare wire and screw next to it. Again see your technical diagram inside your unit. AND NOTE: your microwave may not have the auto capacitor discharge feature. On my unit, the lower primary interlock switch button was stuck in the down positon with the door opened; it should always popup when not pressed. I preesed it and the button started working again, but the mircro still wouldn't work with symptom two above. I tested the switch. With the door closed the reading should be 0 ohms (I had 114.6), and with the door open infinity ohms (i had 115.7). So, even though the button was now working/clicking, the internal switch mechanism was still stuck in the closed position (I believe). This product matched my switch model number. Installed it and the micro is in working order again. There are videos on youtube to help. One mentioned there's a video showing how to remove the switches. I was able to remove mine with some strugle.

Perfect replacement
Had this door switch replacing a broken one on GE model JVM1540DM5WW. Very easy to install. Just push it in the slot and it snapped in place. The harder part was how to get the old one out (look up YouTube). It works perfectly fine at a low cost.

worked nicely in GE (jvm7195sk4ss) microwave
i used these to replace faulty part in my GE microwave (jvm7195sk4ss). so far its working. not sure about longevity. but as per part price even if i have to replace again, its worth it. pretty cheap compared to OEM.

just what the repairman ordered
Used one of these to get a 34-year-old Emerson AT1100 microwave back in the game. These are very standardized components used by many manufacturers. The most important specs are the power rating (in horsepower or watts) and whether normally open or normally closed and whether double or single throw. Choose a part having an equal or greater power rating. You can replace an SPST with an SPDT if you have to. So you don't really have to replace exactly according to part number if you understand what you are doing.Symptoms: After setting the cooking time and pressing start key, the oven light would come on and Iwould hear a click like a relay, but the turntable didn't turn and there was noheating, while the time display worked as normal, with time counting down towardzero. The first time it happened, I guessed that it was a relay not providinggood contact, and I raised the oven some inches above the counter, then dropped it, and thenit started cooking. Some days after that, again it failed to cook, and Iagain tried to jar it into working, but that maneuver didn't work a second time.To test whether your switch is bad, remove it and attach a continuity meter or ohmmeter while pressing and releasing the button. My oven has four door switches, and I removed and tested all of them. It's possible to open one of these and repair it so that you can use the oven while waiting for a proper replacement.

Saved me 500 dollars!
We have a 4 year old GE Profile Stainless built in Microwave in our Kitchen. At only four years old it started not shutting off when you open the door. Kinda scary. After doing research I found these are the culprit, You just have to have some mechanical smarts to totally disassemble your Microwave to replace them. Not super hard. Well worth saving the money on a new one.

Works Well
The replacement switches worked well along with the FA-62 switch. The bracket holding the switches in my GE Profile Microwave Convection oven was difficult to get at. Had to take the unit cover off. We used a hair blower to manipulate the plastic holder clips. I didnโt do it, but perhaps unscrewing the bracket might allow you to better access the switches and free them from behind.
