Hudson and posey🥰🥰🥰🥰
I Loved this standalone. It was so good. It was a fast read. It was kind of like a slow burn between Hudson and Posey but the sexual tension was there. The love was there. I just loved it I don’t wanna give away any spoilers but the audio is the absolute best.

OMG
Can we all have a moment like Posy. It was a great read and even better audio. I couldn’t have gave voice to these wonderful characters if I tried.

good, but serious lag time on front end
KU subscriptionThe second book in the Dollhouse series sees the MMC, Hudson, obsessed with the FMC, Posey, from the time they were kids. He’s like eight years older than she and he also has a secret, so he tries to stay away from her. She goes to a club owned by Rex, the MMC from the first book, with her friend and it starts Hudson’s obsession fresh. It is a decent read, although I don’t know if I like it as much as the first one, but I have to say it took a lot of patience to get through the first 30%. It often reads as if Posey is writing in her diary. I love her best friend, Jess, but Posey had to describe every single second they spent together. Jess was one of the best friends I’ve read in a romance. She was hell-bent on protecting Posey at any cost, even standing up to Hudson.Posey herself is easy to like, and I respected her a lot. She and Jess weren’t hard, but they weren’t soft either, having grown up in a rough part of Detroit. One of my favorite parts in the book was how articulate the author made Posey in explaining to Hudson how something had really hurt her. To her credit, the author also allows you to hear Hudson‘s thoughts on the matter and how he realizes what a mistake he made and what would happen if the shoe had been on the other foot. In this scene, Posey is definitely the calm one, determined, logical, and pragmatic. Jess is ranting but says something that Posey realizes is at the heart of the matter. She’s the rare heroine who doesn’t just forgive the hero because he’s big and sexy. Not a lot of sex, but it’s solid. Vanilla but spicy.I’d read another in this series.

Even better than book 1
I loved book one. I didn’t think anything could top Lucy and Rafe’s relationship. BOY WAS I WRONG!Usually it’s the over the top possessive hero that makes me fall in love with a book. Not this time. I have the BIGGEST crush on Posey. I loved how level headed she was. Getting with Hudson didn’t change her at all. Her giving him hell after the strip club was my favorite scene! She was so strong and made it clear she would not be cheated on or walked over. I literally loved everything about her character.Special mention for Jess as well! I hope she gets her own book with Masher.

smoking hot
This was a slow start of a burning romance that started at a young age that was still there when they were older and of age this is a mysterious overprotective man that refuses to let go is the love of his life that was a teenager at one time with the age gap‘s has an amazing fast pace read

It was okay but could have been better
This book starts off slow and I wasn’t sure what I was getting into . At first it seemed they were gangbangers and thugs from the wrong side of town. The story really doesn’t pick up until 40%. I almost dnf’d it but I’m glad I stuck it out. Once the couple started interacting I enjoyed the story. Hudson was possessive and obsessed with Posey. He was her older brother’s best friend. I felt the ending was too abrupt and we didn’t even get an epilogue. I really would have liked to see more of Posey and Hudson’s Hea. Her family still had a lot of story left to tell. What did her parents think of her with Hudson? Did Rosa straighten up? Did the parents finally stand up to their younger daughter who was a brat? So many things were left in the air. I can see Jess’s part of the story is probably going to be the next book in the series but I don’t see how Posey’s family’s story will ever get finished . Also if this is a stand-alone it really needed to be addressed in this book. Leaving it like this makes me feel like this story is missing something.

Absolute perfection!
Diversion, the second book in the Dollhouse series by Albany Walker was absolute perfection and she totally knocked Posey and Iron’s story right out of the park!If you’re a fan of stalker, over the top possessive alphas then this is the one for you!

Diversion....
Oh Iron, Iron, Iron....I'm going to be honest, I was a bit iffy about Irons story - in Book 1 Lucy made a comment about him going in the back room with the girls and the things she seen happen and it just left me a bit icky towards him. He's not a bad spud though, you can tell that he definitely adores Posey, he's not the smartest when it comes to relationships though but he's a quick learner! Overall, I liked him.As for Lucy, that girl just wants to do her best. For herself and her best friend (I'm hoping we get her story!!) She is truly loyal towards her and although her home life isn't awful, there's an atmosphere and a tightness between her and her sister.Overall, a good read. He's intense, dangerous and loyal. She's cute, strong and a good person - and loyal!

4.5 stars
4.5 stars for me, only because I loved Amusement that little bit more. Jess was my favourite character in this book, I actually liked her more than Posy and I hope Jess' story is next to come.

More Needed
I’ve been so excited for this book. The Dollhouse series is one of my favourite series. And this book has me needing more about Iron and Posey. I need more. I feel like this book could be its own duet. I love Iron and I love Posey, but this book left me wanting more and left me with a ton of questions.Like… Does Posey find out that Iron removed the fuses from her vehicle? Does she find out what he does for Rafe as a job? Does she end up moving in? Does Carlos’ friends come after Iron and Posey for Iron killing Carlos? Does Posey find out that Iron killed Carlos? Do Masher and Jess end up together?Because this is a d@rk romance and a st@lk3rr romance, I expected a bit more on the st@lk3rr aspects. I kind of also hoped that Posey wouldn’t have taken Iron back so quickly so that we could have seen more d@rk3r aspects come into play.I enjoyed the book overall. I really enjoyed the lengths Iron went to to make sure Posey was safe. Their chemistry was really good and I enjoyed their steamy scenes. But I do desperately wished we had some more regarding the above comments and questions. I feel this book ended on a major cliffhanger that leaves you wondering a lot and feels kind of incomplete.
