good for what I need it
I use the camera in the following manner: - SD card and a domain name like dyndns so that I can go into the camera whenever I want - Amcrest viewpro app for phone to access it - Blue Iris for nvr recording and better tracking Camera sits 1k ft away using a coax to poe converter, no issues so far. Some have said there's a delay for notification, I haven't found that to be the case. As soon as the motion sensor is tripped I get a notification right away about something passing by. I can then open either BlueIris to check the video, or I can open the amcrest pro app and replay the video clip. Together, this works exactly how I expect it to work. It may have some false alarms sometimes from spider webs, but I mute it and let blue iris do the alerting for me (has codeproject AI).

Amazing quality
Highly recommend the camera. Customer service at Amcrest is class act. Nelson was very helpful in debugging the switch issue that was affecting the camera’s stream.

Customer Support is a must. Unfortunately
You will have to call Amcrest Support to enable this PTZ . They are NOT plug and play . Pain in the rump

Good for camera viewing only
Features aren't good. Not good for security camera, too many false motion alarms even when there is nothing there and I have sensitivity setting the lowest it can go. Wish I bought else where as I'm stuck with multiple amcrest cameras that perform horribly.

Good fit for BI
It is a high quality built product. Had no issues with Blue Iris integration. AI is working pretty accurate.

Works seamlessly with Amcrest NVR.
I have an Amcrest 16 channel 4K NVR that I installed a couple of years ago. I'd say half the cameras were Amcrest, the rest a collection of other brands. I've been slowly swapping out the no-name cameras with Amcrest, and replacing the older Amcrest cameras. It's amazing the difference a couple of years makes, especially in low-light and night viewing. This camera has a lot of stand alone features that make it it's own security system with nothing else needed except their app. But I use it with their NVR so I have a central system to control all 16 cameras, record motion, etc. It took literally two minutes to setup and have a video stream in the NVR. Swapping out for an existing POE camera is 100% painless.

Alarm can not be silenced if using motion detection.
Features limited by it's own conflicting nature and substandard DVRs. Video is fine but the advanced features create more problems than they solve so you waste monet buying Amcrest cameras that are more than basic.

Video is great but these are not as good as HIKVision
I purchased 2 Amcrest cameras as a test to start replacing my HIKVision cameras. I have them connected to my Milestone Systems XProtect recording server. These keep dropping to the second stream and lower quality. The motion detection seems very fussy (in XProtect) as the HIKVision ones recorded on motion perfectly. I've been trying to get these to be more accurate but they don't seem to start recording early enough and stop before the motion is out of the frame. So I lose video. Also, these are NOT in their camera pack so you have to use Onvif to configure and XProtect finds the Microphone but never adds it so I get no audio. I've had these for a month or two and just not thrilled with them. I'll go back to HIKVision for my next ones. Also, on a side note, One of my purchases was a new camera but when I opened the box, there was an old no-name camera in the box. I found one of them on ebay for $20. I figured that even though these have a security seal on the top of the box, someone purchased one of these cameras and opened the box from the bottom and stole the camera. They put a used old off-brand camera in the box and returned it as un-opened. Amazon just put it back on the shelf and I ended up buying it. I opened a complaint with Amazon and they shipped me a new one but it was a pain and caused a few day delay to the a new camera.
