Guardian Angel - Rescue on the Glacier Paperback – November 18, 2013

I read "Guardian Angel-Rescue on the Glacier" to my daughter the day it arrived. The story of the rescue was very well written and enjoyable to read. I really like the illustrations. I also like how Jesse told the story from his point of view during the rescue, but yet kept the focus of the story on the entire unit. He explained very well how everybody involved had to work hard to pull off the rescue and the value of teamwork, especially when things unexpectedly go wrong like when the Army helicopter crashed. Hats off to the PJ's for the rescue, and to Jesse for sharing his story.

Book was in great condition

I really liked the book. My granddaughter is an English teacher and she thought it was well done. Liking it because it was a true story. I purchased it because I know the author and his family. I'm very proud of the work he is doing, and it was a marvelous idea to write about it for the young children to read. I wish him much success in his job and with writing another book!!!!

I bought this book for my kids but I am sure I enjoyed it as much as they did. The graphics are great! Jesse has away of writing that makes you feel as if you were right there with him during his rescue effort!

This is a great book to read to the kids. I highly recommend it. Great lesson for kids and enjoyable read.

My 7 year old loves the book. he's read it multiple times, and we enjoyed looking for the "hidden" helicopters.

Wonderfully written! Great story to help teach children to never give up and the reward of helping others! A must buy!!!

Our children can't get enough of this amazing story...a must have for all young readers!
