Septonic Economy Jar

I have an air-pump based aerobic sewage processing plant for my country home for about a year in New Delhi processing grey water as well as well as black water. Before this we were using a leach field drain system that eventually got clogged up. We closed that up and installed the STP, which processes around 8,000 liters (2,000 gallons) a day from the concrete underground septic tank and use it successfully as gardening and field water. The water is tested for residual solids and color daily before being used. The tank is dosed twice a day at 25-30 grams Septonic (approximately 1 ounce x 2 times a day).I have been using Septonic for almost 6 months, and it keeps the atmosphere quite odor-free. I was using a different product earlier which was somewhat erratic in its efficacy. One 3 pound economy jar of Septonic lasts between 21 and 25 Days. Jack's Country Store is the only bulk supplier of this product but does not stock enough of it, and it might take a longish time (couple of weeks sometimes) for them to ship, so factor this in when ordering or re-ordering.*Update* - Pleasantly surprised that Jack's has shipped this order 2 hours from my having placed it. For some reason Septonic has not been available in our local stores for a while. I think it works better than the other products available for septic treatment and it is less expensive. I went for the mega supply so I would have it on hand for a long time. It comes with a scooper equal to one treatment ( 1 scoop per 500 gal septic tank once a month) and says it has 45 scoops of Septonic. That should keep us "going" for a while.12/2/18 - I am just about to use my last scoop of the jar, so it does last a long time. Getting ready to order a new one. I still wouldn't use any other product.

We bought our mountain home in the late 1960's. The owner contractor advised us to use either yeast or Septonic regularly down the toilet to keep our septic tank functioning well. We used yeast for a while but then switched to Septonic and have used it monthly since then. Have only had to have the tank pumped twice and there is never any odor. So glad it is still available and in quantity size!

This product works great to keep my septic tank working perfectly. I just use it once a month in one of my toilets and it helps my septic tank work as it should.

Seems to work well in my septic system,. For years I've purchased the boxes with small envelopes of Septonic to use monthly in my septic tank. I'm so glad I found the economy jar because it will last longer and not waste packaging as the boxes do. I wish my regular hardware store carried the economy size, too.

I HAVE US ED IN THE PAST,BUT ONLY IN SMALL PACKETS THIS AMOUNT IS FANTASTIC. A SCOOP PER MONTH KEEPS EVERYTHING CLEAN. THE PRICE IS FAIR THE FUNCTION IS EXCELLENT.
