Nice and Snug Fit
This fit nice a snug on my new trailer. I actually had to use a little bar oil to get it on but all good. It looks nice. The label says to remove while traveling but I'm not sure why I would do that. The pin holds it in place just fine.

“Remove Foot Plate Before Trailering”
My utility trailer’s one ton jack broke (rusted through) and I replaced it with 2.5 ton jack. I don’t agree with the listing for the new jack when it states that, “Easy-to-use design eliminates the need for foot pedals, making it more convenient for users,” so I purchased a foot pedal to install with the jack. I feel that this jack should have been provided with a foot pedal. The foot pedal makes all the difference. This Curt 28272 jack foot is sold as being used for a 2000Lb (1 Ton) tongue weight. There are 2.5 Ton jack foot plate/shoe/pedals available, but this Curt appears to be designed and built better than the 2.5 Ton pedals. Since my old jack was rated at 1 Ton, I felt the Curt 28272 jack foot will do the job. This Curt fitted perfectly into my jack. The Curt 28272 jack foot came with a CAUTION to “remove foot plate before trailering.” That was not mentioned in this listing; this made irritated me and I almost sent it back. The listing states “the safety pin secures the foot onto the jack and can quickly be removed if needed.” I guess the warning, “remove foot plate before trailering,” is the “if needed.” Since my old jack foot did not have this warning, I replaced the pin that came with the Curt with a high strength bold, tightened the nut so that the jack foot did not move, and disrupted the end threads so the nut would not come off. I removed the Caution label! Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted: ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

5 star quality at reasonable price!
More than satisfied with this purchase. It's built with heavy duty steel and the foot is completely welded. At $9.49, it's very reasonable and half the price it would have cost locally. Extremely happy with this purchase!

As described
Sturdy, fit well, as described. I would caution buyers who plan to drop the Jack to the ground to consider a taller version. We are extending our Jack all the way to get it off the ball. If you use 6x6 or similar under the foot you’re probably fine. We are using 3-4 leveling blocks stacked as a base since realizing this inconvenience. This is NOT a deficiency or complaint against this product, it’s an oversight I made a a buyer.

Solid and easy to install. Fits Bulldog 2 1/4" trailer jacks
Mounts directly to a standard trailer jack. I drilled a few holes in it as suggested by other users to prevent water from pooling in the foot, and permanently mounted it using a 3/8-16 x 3" stainless steel bolts, lock washers and nuts. Solid, inexpensive, and should last for years!

Works great
Well made. Material is thick and sturdy. It should of come with a bolt vs. the quick release pin but a this was easy to fix with a trip to Home Depot. It has a warning note to remove before driving but adding a 4" bolt and lock nut secures it permanently.

Solide et bien conçu
S’adapte aux crics de remorque universels. La plaque est épaisse et solide. Le mécanisme de fixation est efficace.
