GOLDTOEMen's Harrington Crew Socks, Multipairs

Just what you expect from Goldtoe socks, very soft and a great fit for your feet.

I thought only women cared about their clothes being soft but apparently there are men who also care about their comfort in clothes. I have been looking for socks that match Mr. M's request. He wants them to have the most cotton available. For awhile, he liked these. Apparently, the top of them are too tight no matter what he does and ends up having marks on his legs from them..... so we are back to the drawing board!

I was unpleasantly surprised when my latest package of these socks came with two pairs of BLACK socks in place of the Navy pairs that were previously included. Because it’s hard to discern the color from the photo on Amazon, I contacted Gold Toe to find out whether the DENIM color option now features black socks in lieu of navy ones. Let’s just say that the response I received from Gold Toe was as helpful as a hole in your head. I returned the first pair I purchased and received a replacement, but the latter also featured black socks instead of navy. This makes no sense for a color option described as “Denim”.The new incarnation of the Harrington Crew socks are significantly thinner and boast a slightly looser fit. You can see the difference between the socks I just got and the ones I purchased last year in the attached photo. Now, a looser fit might not necessarily be a bad thing. The older, thicker Harrington socks I own can occasionally feel tight above the ankle, offering enough compression to dig into your skin. Having said that, I’ve always found the thickness of previous Harrington Crew socks provided excellent warmth and made them quite durable. It’s unclear to me whether these qualities remain with the thinner material and looser construction.Given the changes to these socks, I’d only recommend them if you can pick them up with a nice discount. For the $13+ I paid for the six pairs, the socks probably represent a good value even if I didn’t want the black socks. Unfortunately, the quality of Gold Toe socks has been declining in recent years so, with that caveat, a three-star rating seems fair for these new socks at this point.

Nice quality socks with a thick, cushiony feel. Perfect casual wear socks that look good with jeans, khakis, cords and any casual pants. Reinforced toes and strong elastic mean they won’t get stretched out or too saggy too soon. Classic colors in a trusted brand make this a great purchase.

By far my favorite socks. They’re thick. They’re warm but not so warm that your feet sweat. Quality quality quality. And further price that I got them on Amazon………. Outstanding. My favorite socks by far! Cannot go wrong with gold toes! Good for white collar or blue collar workers. The socks, caress your foot, and are so dang soft you would not not believe it!!!!!!

I have purchased several pairs of socks that I could not wear because the top of the sock was extremely tight.I could never understand why the various manufacturers would make size 13 - 16 socks that were too small above the ankle. Who did they think wears a size 14 or 15 shoe? Finally, I am pleased to say these socks fit just right for a large, fit, tall man. These Harrington GoldToe socks are the best. Soft, and comfortable, the way a sock should fit for a big guy. Big Smiles !

I wear these with my boots almost all day and they are super comfortable! I saw them at a Walmart last year and made a mental note to buy them the next time I wear boots. So I ordered these here and they have not disappointed. They are super warm and after washing them several times, the quality still holds up. Would definitely recommend it!

I bought the extra large, because the large always seem a little small. Mistake, socks are longer, but do not fit my calves. You would think that if your buying larger socks, that not only the foot area would be bigger, but also the calve material. This is not the case. Very tight.

Pros:- colors are great and true to photo- thick and warmCons:- too tight around the anklesI’ve narrow ankles so the tightness isn’t a huge problem for me, personally, but I won’t be repurchasing and I wouldn’t recommend these to just anyone.
