Great for upgrading. Worked perfect.
I use this kit to upgrade my daughter's John Deere Gator. All parts fit perfectly and functioned flawlessly. I bought a separate voltage controller and hooked it up to a 40 volt Ryobi battery and the Gator can go about 15 mph if you upgrade the gears as well. If you are upgrading to have your unit go that fast you must upgrade the gears and remove the auto braking. If you do not remove the auto braking and do not upgrade the gears the first time you go 15 mph and auto brake your gears will be destroyed. Auto breaking is usually the smallest wire from the pedal on a gator. All the upgrades mentioned are fairly easy if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.

Too big for my machine
It’s my fault for not realizing it would be too big for my kids utv. I can’t speak for the ease of installation, but it is good value for the money, considering the prices of similar products. I can’t give specifics on the motor life, speed, or functionality since it didn’t fit. Make sure you take measurements or check if it will fit before you buy. Other than that, it works since I tested it.

Unreliable Part
Zero stars if that was an option. Child was so excited to be able to drive his power wheels again. One motor installed and with basic driving, the motor burned out within 5 minutes. (Parent is a crane mechanic, we know this was installed correctly.) Asked for a refund. Would not recommend this part for a replacement fix. Unhappy child and parent.

Perfect fit for Peg Perego John Deere tractor
Like the title says, perfect fit for my boy's John Deere tractor. A vise will be best to install the pinion on each motor (there's a perfect match included in the bag) but you can get it done with a hammer and some pliers if really need be. Make sure to compare an existing motor+gear install so you're fully engaging the gears so they don't strip. Also don't over tighten the mounting screws, should be able to spin the output drive by hand (with effort). Performance-wise, son doesn't get the super high speed he did running the factory 12v motors but I know they're not gonna burn up now on 25v from 6s packs. Still more than enough torque to pick the front end up!!

Works great off road
These work great on a loose rock and gravel parking lot, attached to an 18v/4Ah Ryobi battery with no voltage reducer/governor. I put them in some off-brand Chinese Power Wheels, and they fit perfectly. Contrary to product photos and other reviews, what I received DID come with two pinion gears of each size!
