All you need are dry erase markers, which quickly wipe off when you are ready. My only "complaint" would be that there's too much of it. I needed, and still use, two small pieces to write notes to my bed-bound husband. The quality is decent for the price, and it functions well as a simple dry erase surface. It was easy to apply and gives a good amount of writing space. The texture is smooth enough for writing, and markers glide across it without issue. It erases for the most part. I will say the marker leave traces almost immediately so it won't go back to being spotless again.
