The strings are smooth and won't cause you any trouble sliding up and down the frets. The *chick* sound made when changing chords and frets sounds awesome. The snare, though is not that vibrant. Anyways, regarding the price, the quality is more than satisfying and it seems very sturdy too, will last at least 3 years of heavy playing. Note:- While opening the package, you won't find the strings marked with name; and also, the set will be divided in pairs as follows: Lower E with A (6th and 5th) D with G (4th and 3rd) B with the Upper E (2nd and 1st) The strings are colour-coded in the back end.
