Greenworks 24V 10" Cordless Compact Chainsaw (Great For Storm Clean-Up, Pruning, and Firewood), 2.0Ah Battery and Charger Included

I am a female and it is the right size for removing my small trees which were killed by a one night frost. It is lightweight easy to chain and refill oil. Easy to use and it does a great job. Very useful for tree branches, cut some as big as blade lenght with regular effort. Good product.

Very maneuverable (wow, that's a tough one to spell!); I'm just an amateur but had no trouble sawing off some 12 inch tree limbs, while on top of a tall ladder. Easy to operate EXCEPT the knob for adjusting (tightening) the chain was an enormous pain. It tends to make a ratcheting noise instead of tightening or loosening no matter what I do or how I manipulate the knob; at some point it locks in and starts to adjust the chain tightness but I lost a lot of time trying to get that knob to work; could not figure out the mechanism and decided it was poorly engineered. Nonetheless, got the job done nicely.

Do not buy. It does not (NOT) do trimming. It struggled on branch twigs 10mm thick (!), and only scratched at the parts of branch that were several inches thick in diameter. The chain is fine, but the battery does nothing. What a disappointment.

I like this brand

I added this to my collection of green works products. It cuts very well and battery life is good. It's light weight and perfect for small cutting jobs. Chain adjustment is easy, and it's low maintenance. The handle is very comfortable and it functions perfectly.

There were no instructions on assembly. Youtube to the rescue. This feels very flimsy but cuts ok. Not the workhorse that was expected. AND you better order/buy some chain oil (none included)

I started buying greenworks about a year and a half ago. When they were not nearly as expensive as they are now. Tariffs are just about to start but these tools have doubled in price in the last year and a half. I bought my 16" chainsaw for the same price as this 10" chainsaw. If you can afford greenworks, it is decent for battery operation and batteries are interchangeable. I love that they are from Canada, which I have dealt with customer service on a few items, at greenworks, and they were helpful and pleasant. Only wanted to help. A lot of places accross seas only make excuses. I have the 16" and the 18" greenworks chainsaw. I also have a couple of 6" chainsaw. I wanted something that wouldn't be a burden to carry around on 40 acres. I absolutely love this little chainsaw. It does the job without worry of hurting yourself. 12" around trees-no problem. It has no tightening mechanism which doesn't hinder it. I can use all the batteries that come with the other greenworks tools. It's not loud at all. Nice little machine.
