Classy skirt. I like to pair it with my sleeveless black turtleneck and my Mary-Jane flats or heels. The skirt goes over my knees so it is appropriate for work and I love how large the pockets are!! I can fit my Nine-West wallet IN MY POCKET, which is a really big thing since it is the size of a clutch and won't fit in most of my tiny messenger bag style purses. Material is great and has a lot of coverage. (It isn't sheer at all and has a extra layer under the skirt - ideal for winter but not overbearing for summer.) Will be ordering more colors soon! I am 5'3, 120 pounds and I bought the Burgundy in a size Medium. Burgundy color is spot on, perfect for the holidays, valentines day, or any day basically. It fits right above my waist, rib-cage area. I usually wear a small but opted for a medium for a more comfy fit which totally worked for me since I can breathe in it but it doesn't slip down. Boyfriend's family loved my classy apparel for birthday party, future mother in law said I looked like a cute retro-girl and boss lady loves the flattering fit it gives me. (Which is surprising because I'm rather semi-curvy.)

This is a beautiful skirt, especially for the price. It even has a lining inside, and it has pockets. I paired mine with a fitted turtleneck from a certain "bullseye" store, and the entire outfit cost me around thirty bucks. A friend told me it was "very Betty Draper," and it is a cute retro look. The fabric does not look cheap or flimsy, though I will need to steam it before wearing. This fits at the natural waist -- the top of the skirt is just under the ribcage. This is a very slimming, flattering skirt. I usually wear a 2 or 4, and I ended up with the size small. My waist measures 26.5 inches, and in the XS, there was no room to tuck in a shirt. The small is slightly loose, but not so much that it will be a problem. The rest of the skirt is A-line, so measure your natural waist for proper fit. The hips shouldn't matter much.

I really love this skirt! I purchased the blue and it is a true royal blue - nice and vibrant. I love the price, the color, pleats, the pockets, the length, and that it is lined. It even has room for wearing a petticoat underneath. However, I fell in between two sizes - M and L - with my natural waist measuring 29.25 inches. I purchased the large and it was definitely too big and with the pleats and the liner it seemed like it would be difficult to take it in. I returned it for the medium and unfortunately, it was just too snug. It would be even worse if I wanted to tuck a blouse in. The material has absolutely no stretch at all. I'm used to sizing having only 1-inch difference so the fact that there is a difference of more than 2 inches between the sizing makes it hard to fit. Again, resizing an overly large skirt that has pleats and a liner is no small undertaking thus I will have to pass. Hopefully, it fits your measurements perfectly.

I’m 5’4 and weigh around 110-115lbs and I ordered an XS because I really wanted to hug my waist and not slide down. It fits perfect... I could see it being uncomfortable if worn for a long time because it doesn’t really allow for much stretch/breathing room but then again I anticipated this so I don’t fault the manufacturer for that. The fabric is also heavy and kind of stiff... it definitely needs ironing or steaming before I wear it out because of wrinkling. It has great pockets! Every girl can appreciate a skirt with some pockets! My biggest complaint and the reason I gave it 3 stars is because I had ordered Wine Red and received a Bright Red (See picture). Not a huge deal... it will still work for the holiday party I was planning to wear it to so I’m just going to keep it. But I probably would’ve given them 4 1/2 or 5 stars if it wasn’t for this mix up.

This skirt is now an everyday wearer for me. I originally purchased the green for a St. Patrick's Day event, so I could look professional but still be in the spirit of the evening. I have since ordered the wine red, and will be ordering more! I have so many women stop me and ask me where I got this skirt, and I send them the link immediately. I am 5'3", 220 lbs, 37 waist, 48 hips, size 14w-18 in dresses, depending on the make. I ordered the XXL, and it fits exactly on me. I can't eat an extremely large meal, though, since the waistband has no elastic and no give. But do you know what this dress has that is wonderful? 1: it has a lining, and great fabric, nice and heavy-duty. I am not afraid of this disintegrating. And most importantly, 2: POCKETS. They're deep! It's like wearing men's pants, I have enough room to fit my wallet (a long wallet) and my phone in one pocket. It doesn't even make the cut look strange, given the way this skirt flares. I sometimes stick an umbrella in my pocket. And it barely hangs out. The pockets are the main reason women stop me in the street and ask where they can find one. I have had three friends order this skirt. I wear mine 3/7 days of the week. 100% A+++worth it.

I actually purchased it to match my costume but is almost too nice for that. I am sort of in between sizes so Thank goodness I ordered the bigger size! They do fit small, but can I just say the material, cut and everything else about the skirt makes it soooo worth it. .. AND... it has Pockets!!! I want to get one in other colors now as well! 😊 I would've give it a four for the sizing being a smidge off but I just can't, it's too nice.

This is my 3rd up date on this skirt. I have bought all the colors now. I have found that the sizing is consistent in all the skirts. I love all the colors. I normally buy my skirts from Nordstrom, or Macy's, The navy skirt was my first clothing purchase on Amazon. I wear either a 10 or 12. The first high waisted, retro style skirt I bought was from Nordstrom. It was on sale for 82 dollars. This Amazon skirt is not the quality of the Nordstrom skirt, but it is fairly close. I wear a lot of skirts ( not a pant person). Toget the best look,wear it with a 26 inch petticoat. The fabric is similar to the fabric of my Nordstrom skirts. The skirt is a little shinny. I would have preferred more of matt finish. Even with that con, the skirts are beautiful. I highly recommend these skirts even if you are a Nordstom faithful shopper like me. People have complained about the zipper not working. I have not had that problem. But I read some place if you take a candle and rub it along the edges of the zipper ( the actual teeth of the zipper) it helps with sticking. I have gone retro skirt crazy with this beautiful skirt. Glad it is such a reasonable price. The skirt does not look like it cost only 19.99. Thanks Amazon for this one.

I was very excited about receiving this skirt. I ordered an XL because that's what was suggested by reviewers. I'm normally a size 10/12. The XL was too big. But I already wore it and got lots of compliments. It does sit a little low on my waist and I wish it would be higher like it's supposed to be but its not a game changer. I already ordered another one in black and in L so I hope that one isn't tight. The zipper got a little stuck. But honestly a really good zipper doesn't cost more than $3 so I may go buy one and have my seamstress replace it. She only charges $3 to replace zippers. For those who bought the skirt with a bad zipper just go get it replaced. I ordered the skirt in blue. And the material is very nice and vibrant. It has a lining which is also a plus. I will be ordering from this company again. I am pleased with my order. Zipper is placed on side where pockets are so it may be tricky to take in. But I'm not a seamstress so I may be wrong. Pocket lining is very thin so don't stuff them. If you aren't into heavy skirts then don't buy bcz it does have a lot of material. Arrived in 10 days Good price Good quality

J'ai commendé une grandeur SMALL en me fiant à leur charte. Malheureusement il y avait un pouce de trop à la taille. Par contre, le tissus et la couleur sont très jolis. Les coutures sont solides et bien faites. J'aime la jupe et je vais tout simplement la faire rapetisser un peu. Si vous êtes intéressé par cette jupe, je vous suggère de commander un point plus petit que votre grandeur habituelle.
