My husband absolutely loves this. It has a light, fresh scent and he says it makes his shave very smooth. He has pretty course, thick facial hair, so that can be a bit of a challenge. Overall, he's very pleased with this.

The "foaming" descriptor on the product label and in the product description here immediately made me think of traditional shaving cream products like Barbasol, but since Cardon isn't packaged in a can I had thought perhaps that it might actually provide a different experience. While this product actually does provide a different experience than foaming, it's also a similarly poor product. I suggest trying a couple products I've been using for several years, after I made the switch from Barbasol many years ago to shaving gel: Cremo and Van Der Hagen. Cardon isn't messy like a foaming product like Barbasol, but it also isn't effective like Cremo and Van Der Hagen, which only require a small amount of product for each shave. Additionally, these two other products are much less costly than Cardon. While I suppose the scent of this product is pleasant, I shave before I shower so the scent doesn't stay with me afterward anyway. I'm really not seeing any value add from this product, but since every body is different I'm being gracious and granting it three stars.**UPDATE**: As a follow-up to what I wrote three months ago, I've decided to increase my rating from three-stars to four-stars because this product has grown on me a bit. Cardon is still too expensive relative to Cremo and Van Der Hagen, and I still prefer these other two products, but I judged it too quickly.

Lathers really well and keeps my skin moisturized during and after the shave. Even on the occasional nick, i don't see any redness. it does its job well. I'll be buying a second one.

I ordered this on a whim because we were out of shaving cream and I was given the opportunity to try this product. I didn’t have high expectations, but this product really impressed us! My husband particularly loves it — he finds that it goes on smoothly, allows for a close shave, no irritation, and he likes the smell. We will order this product again!

I recently tried a shaving cream that was almost like a lotion. It came in a tube like this one so I was hoping for the same texture. While this is creamy it actually foams up quite a bit.The scent is nice and pretty mild.The product feels rich and definitely protective. I’m pretty prone to irritation from shaving and the only thing that’s worked for me is the Aveeno therapeutic cream, and recently the Would branded shaving cream that’s very lotiony.This product does ok on my legs, but I still get a bit of irritation on my under arms. No irritation on my boyfriend’s face either. It’s not as thick as I expected it to be. I actually find it a bit too expensive for what it is, but it does fine.

Being a man and working a profession I must shave daily this product is just what I needed. I was getting irritated with other shaving cream leaving rust stains in my shower! The fact this is in a plastic container is a winner. The cream is somewhat thick and has the razor glide over my skin and my skin feels super soft after my shave. The shaving cream smells amazing and I wont even attempt to describe the yummy smell because its unlike any fragrance I've used before. The wife seems to enjoy how smooth and soft my face is now and she seems to be giving me more kisses lately. This is another win and I definitely recommend anyone looking for a quality shaving cream to give this one a try.

I tested this with new blades from both Zomchi and Astra in my razor.Overall, a very nice product and I recommend it. It's among the best of the shaving creams I've tried. Not *the* best, but among the best. When applied it foams up nicely. Not as much as a soap or a gel, but more than a standard shaving cream. As instructed, use a little at first and add more if you need it. It is very mild-scented, and when paired with a good blade delivers a smooth shave. It tends to dry out a little and so requires a little rewetting if you take too long. It's not very thick and washes off the razor rather easily. It also washes off the face easily once shaving is done.The only shortcoming I encountered was it doesn't protect my face as well as I would have liked. Don't get me wrong--the protection was great compared to many other shaving creams I've used, but if the reformulated it to offer a little more protection this would be a top-notch product, up there with the best I've tried.Overall, I recommend it and would use it again. It comes on a reasonably-sized tube, making it convenient for both home and travel use.

This shaving cream smells great. It has a sharp/sweet scent like passionfruit. What a refreshing change to shaving creams that smell like cologne! It's definitely still masculine, just fresh and different.The cream itself is rich and thick.
