The seams are sturdy. I have a med sized dog and she is not a big chewer, but typically will pull at the seams and get the stuffing out. A friend recommended purchasing toddler/ baby toys as they are made better. The seems are well sewn and on the inside of the ball. I was a little concerned about the rattle but it is just enough to keep Daisy ( my dog) engaged without annoying me!

Soft colorful balls for babies with making bell sound.

I bought this for my little poodle because she loves to throw these soft balls but she smelled of this one and would not have anything to do with it.

I used to sell plush as a manufacturer's rep. long before plush was being used for dog toys. I gave some of my samplesto all my friends with dogs. They loved them—carried them around everywhere they went, cuddled-up with them,slept with them… We had a ball like this for babies in our line --soft, plush with a rattle inside.I gave it to my dog when I no longer needed it as a sample and he loved it. He'd shake it to make it rattle, toss itaround or just lay there with it clomped in his mouth. He lived to be 18.5 yr. old and I reused the rattle and filling,buying new plush fabric and making him replacements every 3-4 yrs. It's long gone now and, unfortunately, so is he.Almost all the dog toys today it seems have squeakers, which little dogs, or at least my present two, never make squeak.There are a few that have soft plastic inside so they make a crinkling sound but that doesn't excite either one of my girls.However one of them really likes to toss balls around and when I saw this one I immediately thought of the one I usedto have and tossed it into my cart --pun intended. I can hardly wait until Christmas morning to give it to her. Obviously,it hasn't been played with yet, except by me, but I think it'll become a favorite toy. Baby plush has very strict regulationsand requirements as to how they're made so babies can't pull out the eyes, or anything else, and put it in their mouths tochoke on. As I recall, it's several hundred pounds of pulling pressure they're subjected to in testing. My two dogs aren't hardon their toys like some dogs who destroy them within minutes, days or weeks, so I have no fear that it won't hold up. I boughta couple baby rattle toys for them last year and they're fine--just in need of washing right now. I think I have a winner here but...does it have to come from Santa instead of me?

When I bought this the description said cotton, and I knew from the look it wasn't likely, but combed cotton was possible. Nope, this is definitely some kinda rayon or such, but it's still cloth, soft, jingles, is a good size, and is cute. Baby Loves it, she can lift it but its big enough to be an easy target for her thwacks! I wish they'd be honest in their description of the fabric, but otherwise quite happy with this nice ball.

I bought this ball for my baby thinking it is cotton, as stated in the description, but it is 100% polyester !! Very deceiving !
