Classic Multi Gusset Toploader Briefcase, Black, Triple Gusset 15.6-Inch

I am so happy and satisfied that I bought this bag. I wanted a bag that would fit my 17" Laptop with power cord, 10" Tablet, 7" Kindle HD, work papers, and various writing supplies and eye glass case. I had purchased the Case Logic DLC-117 17-Inch Laptop and Tablet Case thinking that this would be adequate for my needs. But if you read my review on that bag, you will see that I was not at all happy with it. I won't go into detail about that bag since you can read it there but basically it was too small and I wanted one that would stand up on its own which the Case Logic did not. So I bit the bullet and spent the extra money on this one and am so glad I did. It really is perfect! Because it is a 3 gusset bag top loader, it stands up on its own and has more than enough room and pockets for everything I needed. Even with all of my things inside the bag which together is quite a bit of weight, it still feels comfortable enough to carry. The strap is of good quality and strength. For the current price of $46, you absolutely can't go wrong with this bag and you will love it for its versatility and looks. After all, it is a Samsonite and one would think that they would get it right when making a bag of any kind.

Overall an awesome bag. Have used it for a few weeks now and it is made of good construction and quality materials. Read through all the reviews good and bad and you'll see some similarities popup that can either be avoidable or questionable on the reviewer's part. My 15" laptop fits perfectly and the bungee strap inside is nice but I don't feel you have to have it. I don't plan on using the SmartPocket luggage strap but from other bags I've had in the past this one seems to be sturdy in comparison. If you do give it a try, just note that some of the internal storage compartments do no have flaps/covers so if you're OCD like some of us it might be annoying to see (but they work perfectly so long as you're not going on a roller coaster with this thing.) Also, two minor design details, a few of my other bags in the past have had either a Velcro flap or magnetic handle coupler to keep the bale handles together (the picture could lead you to think it's a magnetic type.) Not really an issue but if you're used to those just know this doesn't have one. Also, if you're a fan of the internal mesh pouches for keeping devices, etc. secure, this only has a single zippered mesh pouch that has a divider in the middle. Not major just a difference from many other designs out there. PROS: - Sturdy - Lots of storage and organization - Padded devise pouches - Clean, straightforward design - Solid zippers CONsiderations: - No hand strap coupler - Only one, two-unit mesh pouch - Some pouches don't have flaps/lids/covers

Biggest messenger carrying briefcase I've ever seen. Lots of pockets. Sturdy build. Also delivered super fast, in less than 48 hours for 2 day shipping. I've only owned it for 24 hours and right now I am really impressed by the quality. For anyone who is curious - gusset does seem to mean 3 huge full-size separate zipper compartments. That's not including the front zipper pocket for pens and phone etc. There is also an additional zip up pocket on the back. I like it because you can stay organized without everything flying everywhere... because there are so many compartments lol. Update: I have owned this now for several days and I have definitely decided that this will be my primary bag!! Sturdy. Professional. Organized. It's the bag I've always wanted but didn't know was available in my price range. Super glad I didn't buy something more expensive just for looks because what I really need is something that is functional and flexible. You can cram a ton of sh*t in there if needed or you can keep it simple. Also, it looks very professional, overriding my previous desire to buy something more high-end that looks "nicer". This bag is plenty professional. I will be wearing a suit and gladly taking this bag to court.

i travel a LOT! At least for a 25 year old I do. Which means, on airplanes, the "one carry on and one laptop bag" is a big deal. The better the laptop bag, the more I can fit. Lets break it down: Shipping: I use Prime, so shipping took two business days + the processing days from the company. It’s worth it! Packaging: Item came in the typical Amazon box. Inside there was some paper to fill the extra space so the items wouldn’t slide around. Then inside the case there was a few cardboard slips to keep it from getting pressed in. Accuracy/Design/Quality: Item appears to be just as described on Amazon page.Tons of room, spaces, compartments,straps, everything you could need for travelling/on the go. HOWEVER, I have a 17" laptop, and it is a rather tight fit, I mean, I need to wiggle it in. Anything that says it fits a 17" laptop, I would expect to have a little extra space for it to fit, without it being so tight. That's the ONLY reason I took a star off. Price: At first I was a bit put off by the price, but then after having it and using it, it's a quality item and worth every penny! Tldr; Lots of space, great organizing, perfect for travelers/on the go.

I don't remember when I originally rated this, but I'm holding at 5 stars. I bought this bag 4 years ago and I'm honestly only looking to replace it now as a matter of vanity. The zipper on the very back, on the part that functions as a thick strap to fit over the handle of rolling luggage, is broken basically beyond repair. It was workable for a while, but it's dead. Otherwise the rest of the bag is FINE, literally like new, after 4 years of daily use at work, 5 days a week. This bag is surprisingly massive for being so compact. Each of the gussets has an inner fold that allows it to expand to accommodate the weirder items you might want to cram into it. I originally picked this one to accommodate the full width of a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard in the laptop pocket, which it carried like a champ. After moving from tech support to development, the same pocket fits my Macbook Pro perfectly, along with pockets for my charger, any other wires I may need to carry, an insulated stainless mug, a 7 day pill sorter, some flash drives, a pocket knife, a small medicine cabinet, multiple packs of sanitary wipes, the folder containing all of my divorce paperwork, a couple small notebooks and some pens, a Nintendo Switch, and whatever breakfast and lunch I packed for the day. With all that inside, I could still fit a bunch of stuff comfortably into it. At home, the bag is just the right height to fit into one of the square shelves of an IKEA Expedit or Kallax storage unit. In my car, it's just the right size to fit behind the driver's seat in the floorboard. In general, I stay busy and I'm constantly doing something. This bag has been just the right size for my whole crazy life.

Samsonite quality travel bag which can slip on your luggage for easy travel. Has very nice should strap for comfort also.What is very impressive is the very front has a ample zipper compartment.The next compartment is awesome--room for 3 credit cards ,velcro pocket for cell phone,and yet another zippered compartment for something (I Pod or whatever) Plus you still could throw papers or whatever and have room . A center zippered area that has a mesh zippered area perfect for pens or what ever and lots of room for whatever. And yet another compartment which fits your lap top nicely and 3 pouch like areas for yet more stuff----very roomy!!Finally-yet another slimmer back compartment which is divided which is wonderful for paperwork!!! This has wonderful compartment space, quality made and attractive!!!If traveling would be perfect to fit under a seat yet it really is able to put alot of stuff in it!!!! Can't say enough good things about it and would have NO problem in giving as a gift!!!!

I've been using this daily for close to two months now and have not had the durability issues that others have reported. Those may be yet to come, but so far, no fraying. I bought this because I sometimes need to carry two 17" laptops, along with cables, power supplies, etc. It has enough room to do that, and enough compartments that the two can be separated, with the cables in the middle compartment. My previous bag was a courier bag that lasted 7 years but finally wore out. My issues with this bag vs. my last one are: 1. No external pockets for a collapsible umbrella, or water bottle, etc. I have had to put the umbrella in one of the side pockets, where it constantly rubs against my leg. 2. The clasps that hold the shoulder strap to the metal loops on the bag somehow manage to detach themselves. Like this morning. After getting off the train, I had gone about 50 feet with the bag over my shoulder, when one of the clasps suddenly popped off and the bag fell on the ground. WTF? This is not the first time it has happened, either. How did they manage to mis-engineer a basic clip? I thought this was a solved problem in product design.

It's exactly what I hoped it'd be. It has TONS of space for almost everything you'll need. Specifically, in the laptop pocket, you have your laptop dedicated insert pocket, and 3 additional smaller pockets, perfect for my portable HD, mouse, and charger. Every pocket is padded, and most other pockets are padded as well. Right now it holds my laptop, hard drive, charger, mouse, 10 inch tablet, an HTML5 book, notebook, 1/2 in binder, pens, small Samsung digital camera, mp3 player, earbud headphones, Square dongle (to take CC's with my tablet or phone), mp3 charger, a USB jump drive, and there is still plenty of space for more small objects I might need and a folder for any paperwork I'd need to carry. It weighs a good 25 pounds. Obviously, you only need to fill it with what you need, and I consider my case extreme but I'v ehad it for about a month now and the bag has been incredible. Definitely recommend it.

Great bag, lots of storage, high quality zippers, and cloth quality is very well stitched. The metal brackets and hooks make for a longer lasting bag, as I have had plastic ones before that break quickly under extreme heat/cold environments. Overall I'm very satisfied with this bag, for storage capacity, quality and durability. Great travel, and carries my 16.4' laptop without a probelm.

The bag arrived a day earlier than I expected, which was lovely. It also has a lot of space and is very smart looking, came straight from Samsonite. All in all, I'm very impressed with the build quality, looks and, practicality of the bag. Loving it!!!
