I recently bought the Hair Thinning Shears (Japanese Stainless Steel) and I’m really impressed. I’m not a professional hairstylist, just someone who cuts hair at home, and these shears made the job so much easier. The scissors feel solid and well-made, not cheap or flimsy. The Japanese stainless steel blades cut smoothly and don’t tug or pull the hair. They thin out the hair evenly, which helps a lot if you want to reduce bulk or blend layers without messing up. I also like that they are comfortable to hold, and the finger rest makes them easy to control. Even after using them for a while, my hand didn’t feel tired. Overall, these are excellent thinning shears for beginners and home use. If you want to clean up your haircut, add texture, or blend without paying salon prices, these are a great buy. These sheers work great! The straight blade of the scissors is scalpel sharp, as the deep cut on my finger can attest! So, be careful when clearing the scissors.

Super sharp and great value! I've purchased these before from same seller. Shipped super fast and these are a fantastic tool to have. My hair stylist doesn't use these so I use them to give my fine, flat hair some lift by doing some texturing myself. But ce careful if you have my super thin, fine hair. You don't want to end up with vald spots by cutting too much. My daughter has super thick, curly hair and I had given her my other pair of these scissors. They do a FANTASTIC job of thinning out a big, thick bunch of hair. I was stunned to watch her just start chopping away at her long, thick curly locks but it really looked 100% better when she was done. So no matter what type of hair you have, these are pretty great to use. I learned about these when my old stylist used them on my hair a very long time ago. She explained how she uses them to get the desired effect.

I wasn't expecting much considering how cheap these are. And I'm a hairstylist so I know Amazon isn't the best place to purchase shears, but I decided to give them a chance because they had good reviews and I definitely wasn't going to pay over $1000 for the kamisori brand chunking shears, but these definitely didn't meet my expectations. They aren't sharp enough. They have a knob to tighten the shears to get a closer cut but even then it doesn't work very well. Sadly disappointing.
