The simplicity of assembly, combined with the sturdiness of this seat and its mobility have proven to be a big plus when getting down around wheel, bumper level on my cars. The ability to wheel around, and not have to "stoop over" has saved my back. Really great product with practical cubbies for tools, lug nuts, etc. Some of my mechanic friends have commented on how good it is.

I’m always working on my cars whether it is detailing, customizing or repairing. This stool was easy to assemble (took me 15 minutes because I was watching a football game while working). The wheels/casters are smooth and quiet. I am 6’4” and 250lbs and it is unfazed when I plop down on it (No flexing or squeaking). The tray is useful and sturdy. Don’t over-tighten the bolts, it’s just not necessary and it could over stress the connections. The cushion is a dense foam that is soft enough to be sitting on for hours, but not so soft that it deforms or sags. The assembly video (link provided in the package) is almost child-like in its simplicity. Great product for far less than some stools that are 2 and 3 times the price.

This seems to be a well made device. There were no unduly sharp edges and everything lined up. Took a star off for inadequate directions. The directions were confusing and incomplete. The diagram, while helpful, could only be seen with the help of a magnifying glass and even then was so tiny as to be hard to see. To assemble, we needed a socket wrench, a Phillips screw driver, and a rubber mallet. Between figuring out which way the pieces went, and which tools we needed, which, fortunately, we did have, it took two of us a couple hours to assemble. It works, no injuries. Could be a few inches taller.

could go on for a while, but all parts are strong and made well. It rolls easily and is the perfect height. The tray is well designed and easy to get parts/tools/whatever in and out of.

This is an absolutely rock-solid shop stool. No plastic other than the tray. Holds up to 350lbs and has a nice, thick and comfortably padded seat. And the wheels are awesome - they are all steel with that sweet dense rubber they use on scooters, skateboards, and inline skates. Meaning they roll super smooth and quiet.
