Blue Cross Lightning. I made this solid sterling silver ring all by myself in my studio. I cut, filed, soldered, sanded, hammered, textured, oxidized it, polished and set the stone in. I used solid sterling silver sheet metal, solid sterling silver wire and fine silver bezel wire. The stone here is the most amazing velvet-blue shattuckite cabochon I have ever seen, with cross lightning-like pattern in deep blue sky! I design my setting to compliment that cross and also textured the sterling silver to compliment the velvety color texture of the stone. The ring is currently size 7.5, the ring shank is open at one end to allow for size adjustment. All my rings I make by hand one at a time so no two pieces are exactly the same.
