Hike about 25 mile with these, lost rubber tip and wore the other through. I did like the weight and the strength, You have to fool with it to get it to twist tight. It was nice to collapse them and stick them in my backpack. Only the handles stuck up a the top which I thought was better than filling my back with pole that broke down into 3 pieces.So up in the air whether or not I would buy these if I had to do it all over again. Would need to include cost of some quality rubber tips in my decision.

It is a great product for the price, but before my first use the straps dissembled when I was tightening them. I took a closer look, and it seems that all of the cheaper poles have this falling mechanism.
