The product works if you stick with it and apply it as directed. I used a metal file, round and fairly small, to remove nail until it was painful to remove any more. I remove the nail with the file over several days until I cannot remove any more. The product only kills more surface fungus. You also will have pockets of fungus which are deeper in the nail bed. You must continue treatment until the entire nail has completely grown out from the very base of the nail bed. For a big toe, this is 12 to 18 months. I've found the product works exceptionally well, but does require applications until the entire nail is replaced by healthy nail. This is a long term commitment. I know no other way to get rid of the fungus. You cannot just let the fungus continue to grow. I will completely destroy your nails and ultimately it will become to painful to stand. At that point, you either use a product like this, take liver killing drugs used to kill fungus, or have your toenails surgically removed. If you use the product and quite before the nail is completely regrown, the fungus is guaranteed to always come back. It is a long term project.

I have tried other products in the past that were unsuccessful. Even though I've been using this for only a short time I can begin to see improvement, which is awesome! The combination of Undecylenic Acid and Tea Tree Oil seams to be an effective combo. I would recommend this product.

I never write reviews. But I have to this time. This works. Give it some time. I didn't even apply religiously. Toe nails take a bit to grow, so be patient. But tonight, I took a close look at that one toe, and I was amazed. Healthy nail coming in. And not just on the one toe that was problematic. Other toes to which I applied it have healthier looking nails coming in, too. At the risk of sounding insane--but then again, I'm sitting here at 10pm writing a review for a nail fungus product, so I already do--I looked at my nails under a magnifying glass I also ordered on Amazon (for something else foot related--long story), and wow. I wanted to write this because I know most of these products are a bunch of BS and you'll spend your hard earned money making Bezos rich on this site, buying all these crappy products that don't work, and I just can't have that. This one works. A++. I would share a picture of my toe but I do have some class. I mean, a little, so I won't. You'll have to trust me on this one.

I think patience,dedication and consistency may be the key factors for this to work.. I am on my 4th bottle and I faithfully apply this 4 times a day. Granted, I many have missed an application now and then but seldom. I am just now noticing some clearing on both of my big toes. The other toes were and are unaffected by the fungus. So this may not be a quick fix but toe nails grow slowly and Rome wasn't built in a day. I know some didn't care for the smell but TBH, I found it had a clean odor to it. Once I see nothing of the fungus, I'll change the number of stars in my rating.

I have been using this product religiously as is suggested in the bottle and there is not even a slight change in my toenail. I am going to continue using it till the bottle is gone hoping for some change.

UPDATE 10/2024: When I purchased initially, these Fungix bottles $27; significantly more expensive than other solutions. After nearly two years of using, my nail made only moderate progress with this treatment and so about six months ago, switched to another product, much less costly product, which appears to have been more effective. I went just now to buy a bottle of Fungix (using a multiple solution approach) and I was baffled to see this product has almost doubled in price - $47-$52 per bottle. So, while it seemed to stop the progress of the fungus it did not resolve it over two years of use. And since they have made the price ridiculously high, I would try other solutions. Actually - vinegar soaks have provided the very best results of anything I've tried. After 4 months . . . and one bottle - optimistic. I did not take before/after pictures because this product was the third or fourth product I had tried, and frankly my expectations were low. After noticing my first indications of a toenail fungus in February (the first in my life), my large toenail continued to deteriorate further back into the nail while using several other treatments purchased online. When I began using Fungix in June, I had lost about 1/2 of my toenail. I applied the product 3-4 times per day and always before going to bed. I filed the nail once per week after a shower when the nail was soft. In early September at my annual Dr. appt. the deterioration had reversed and it appeared that the base of the nail was regaining health. When I told the doctor my story, he asked for, and made a note of, the product I was using. He said whatever I was doing was working given the health of the base of the nail and to continue - it would take time. He said the oral meds he would give me had known risks to liver functions and would not work better than what he was seeing on my nail. At the end of bottle one I have seen a complete reversal of the fungus effects. Most of the deteriorated nail has now grown off of my toenail and there are no new areas of deterioration behind that original area. On one end of my toenail I am now clipping healthy nail when I trim my nails. The nail continues to be discolored and prone to irregular thickness at the remaining effected area. It is not 'beautiful' healthy nail, yet, and it may never look like the other nails around it. But it is much much improved. It has taken 4+ months of solid consistent application and lots of attention and it may be a perpetual battle. But that effort is much better than losing a nail to an active fungus. If you can tolerate tea tree oil and whatever is in this product (I actually found the scent enjoyable), it may work for you as well. It's a marathon though, so be patient.

This works! I have allergies to oral antifungals and was not able to treat the toe nail fungus I had for years. It was also affecting the skin between my toes. Antifungals from the drug store didn't work so, I decided to give Fungix a try two years ago. It first healed the skin between my toes within a few weeks. It has taken a long time for it to get rid of the fungus under my nails, but I kept using it because I saw improvement little by little. It is finally nearly totally gone under the nails and has never come back between my toes. The instruction say to use it multiple times per day and may have healed faster if I had done it like that, but it was a big inconvenience. I put it on once daily before putting on socks. I hate this because I didn't think I would ever get rid of this infection and hope this can help someone else.
