A Trusty Work Shoe I Hope They Never Discontinue
As a tall woman who needs a 12 or 13 in shoes, it is HARD finding shoes that meet the specs I need for work (black, non-slip, wipe-clean, no soft or mesh uppers....) that also actually fit and are tolerable comfort-wise. I've lost track of how many pairs I've sent back because the sizing was way off or because they were as comfortable as strapping bricks to my feet.I bought a pair of these last year (Workshift-m, 10.5 M US) and FINALLY, a work shoe that works for me! I wish I could afford to order a dozen pairs in case they ever discontinue them.I had tried them in 10.5 4E Wide but those weren't proportioned right for my feet so had to return them as they were seriously uncomfortable. The regular 10.5 M size is just right though. The fit is good and with my own gel-insoles inserted, the comfort level is just fine, too. Just as important, I have never lost my footing in these so the non-slip soles are reliable. I ordered my last pair in Aug 2022 and even with wearing 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week, it's taken 'til now, a year and a half later, for them finally to be showing enough wear that they need to be replaced. I just ordered my second pair last week and the fit & comfort level hasn't changed so the $20 price increase was worth it. Very happy not to have to deal with searching for, ordering, and returning a bunch of pairs from other brands to find something that'll work. Thumbs-up to these Filas, please don't ever discontinue this style

These run true to size from length
But they don't run true to size When you first put them on. But once walked into they seem to mold to your feet during the day. When taken off your feet feel relieved from walking because naturally, people get tired from the day outside. But Feet hurt normally from just being on your feet. But with these, it's just a tad less and depends on the nature of your feet if you have bad feet they might hurt a tad but your feet will get adjusted get the extra wide ones..... but if you don't have problems with your feet get the regular width. But not bad for the price. They called them work sneakers I called them anything sneakers, except for jogging. Enjoy people.OH, one more thing to share I am a female and I get these for me because I had a few accidents on my ankles. I'm ok but these are extra wide and they are perfect for me to walk in.Thanks for these my feet were automatically adjusted into them, oh and it does have memory foam inside the footbed.Be blessed happy and safe.

Passed my usual 90 day life cycle
So anyone buying slip proof work shoes like myself are probably working in a wet environment dealing with presumably food adjacent work. For me, it's a fishery. All my work shoes last roughly 90 days. These Fila shoes were a good price, took longer to break in then I'd like (about 3 weeks, were tight at the toes for a 9.5 Wide but got to shape in time). The pleather coating only started falling off about 80 days in or so, which for constantly having scalding hot shrimp oil, poached salmon water, or lobster fat on it was pretty good I'd say. The foam cushioning gave way after about 5 weeks but still offered good support for 8 hour shifts.Work shoes for under 70$ are never going to last longer then 4 months, once these broke in they're the second most compostable work shoes I've ever had. Not enough to buy another pair, I got mine for around 34-ish. However if the pair I replaced these with don't work out, I'm buying another pair if they're under 42$ and dear reader I suggest you do the same. The actual slip resistance was really solid too, light treads so nothing really got stuck in there. Stink resistant too tying back into the fact again, fishery work. The material is good at not absorbing water, oils, or scents.Anyone in food services should know that if it gets in above 4 inches of water or gets directly blasted with a hose though, they will stay soggy for about 4 hours. Otherwise they're great actually. Shoes are expensive if you're buying in this price range it's for comport not for a long, lasting relationship with some toe containers.

Nice fit and purchased a second pair
After I got the first pair and wore them, I bought another pair as they are so comfortable. I really like these as they are not like mesh sneakers and when they do get a little wet, your feet do not get wet.

Works well on slick floors
I work in a Deli. They don't slip at all. And I've had lots of supposed work shoes that are anti-slip that slide all over the place. These are lightweight, which is great. It's four, not making it tired however clean the top off when you get home or they will start to peel if you dont i get a pair every 6 months would last longer I think but I like to keep them fresh

Based on comfort for an extra wide
This review is about my own personal comfort while wearing the shoe. I got these in yesterday. The slip resistant outer sole is there and everything else is OK. But I am hard to please - I have a wide right foot and an super wide, flat, left foot, so this is about trying to find the widest, most supportive. This is difficult, given that almost no shoes exist that are super wide, truly water slip resistant, black work shoes. Recently I've bought a couple of different shoes and five different insoles, in addition to my existing shoes. This Fila shoe (I ordered wide) is ok for comfort for my right foot. But not quite wide enough for the left( The shoe is 4E) I ordered a size larger as usual. The toe area is kind of snug. I think I'll go ahead and wear the shoes on alternating days - I replaced the insoles with Dr. Scholls insoles. The other brand I bought lately were New Balance 626. The XX wide in that shoe is actually a 6E. The NB is wide enough for my left foot - and I would say the comfort in that shoe is okay, but not spectacular. In the past, I've ordered Reebok Work N Cushion 4.0 in 4E - that shoe has been the most comfortable. Even though it's only a 4E - there is plenty of room and comfort. Reebok is the only shoe that for me is true size. I can order a 10 1/2, which is my size, but all other brands I need to order an 11. Unfortunately, Reebok for whatever reason does not keep it in stock anymore - the last one's I got were in February 2022 - there is no more. It seems that, given the reviews I've read, a lot of men are also searching for really wide shoes - but forgive them - they'd also like a comfortable shoe - that kind of shoe is hard to find. Really boggles the mind that manufacturers are not meeting those requests. I have also tried the NB fresh foam recently - in 4E - they were wide enough, and comfortable enough, but the problem was that they had too MUCH foam. Instead of calling them New Balance, it felt like I was Off Balance. I don't need a shoe where I'm floating around, feeling like I'm about to lose my balance.I've tried several Dr. Scholls insoles, because all the shoes I buy need the insoles replaced right out of the box with a gel insole to make them tolerable for myself.

Defective out of the box
I ordered these on the 3rd and they did not even arrive until the 17th so I had to wait a while for them. I have purchased these five or six times before and this is the first time I received a pair that are defective. I would very much like my money back. I needed these for work and the condition out of the box is not acceptable.

THE BEST
These are, HANDS DOWN, the absolute best shoes for working all day on your feet.I work in healthcare and I run around like CRAZY all day long; I am plus size and have flat feet, so I had gotten used to my feet killing me after working all day on my feet and had accepted that as the inevitable reality.BUT, these shoes were suggested to me... and, holy cannoli- they have literally changed my life. They are INCREDIBLY comfortable and they are a fairly light shoe for being rather bulky (not in a bad way), they give a ton of support to the bottom of the foot as well as the ankles, they are easy to wipe down/ prevent liquids from getting in my socks, and they hold up extremely well from the wear and tear I give them!I will absolutely be buying these again once this pair is done.Update: these shoes have been worked HARD. I'm 9 months in, and they're still holding up. I am buying a second pair for an outdoor shoe because they're SO comfortable AND they fit my new orthotic insoles!

Excelente compra

Size is off buy 1 size!!
I usually wear an 8.5 to 9 size so I ordered a 9.5 to be safe. Well, show fits like an 8.5. I've been trying to "break them in" but they are not streching and way too tight and my foot is really sore after an hour.Very disappointing bc I like the shoe!I think it's been too long to return them for a size 10 - which I would gladly do and be happy with.
